What are the Qumran Caves? How do they intersect with some of the greatest events in modern secular and spiritual history? Most history-hating Americans (made so by their teachers) could care less, but those who know something about the Bible and their faith will realize their supreme importance! We could do without the U.S. Capitol, and the Supreme Court, and a number of other august but hopelessly corrupted bodies of the Federal Government (and still remain Christians, able to function as Christians), but the Qumran Caves--they would be a sore loss, indeed, to the Christians through the ages!
A great privilege, indeed, I took this picture on my first tour of Israel. It came to mean more to me once I realized that 1947, the year these caves became known to the whole world, was the year of my father's sudden death, a life changing event for me and my whole family and unknown numbers of other people too. 1947 was the year also that Israel came to birth, with independence for the national sovereign state of Israel declared officially in 1948 in Tel Aviv, and President Truman declaring U.S. recognition of Israel only minutes later. 1947 was the year of epic advances in supersonic jet aircraft in the U.S. But the most far reaching event of 1947, equalling that of Israel's rebirth as a nation, was the Qumran Caves finally giving up their secrets held hidden in them for thousands of years, as two Bedouin goatherds discovered in them the Qumran manuscripts called the Dead Sea Scrolls. To recall this great discovery, we plan to include an article here about the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Great Isaiah Scroll in particular.

The Word of God is worth more than rubies and much gold or even this $1,000,000 greenback. No amount of money and treasure in the world can compare with it or equal it in value. God's word, unlike earthly wealth, lasts forever. Diamonds will not even last forever, but the Word of God will never cease to exist, as the Bible and the God of the Bible declare. Unlike worldly riches, this greatest, most lasting Treasure is available for everyone to take and possess. But the incredible fact is, it is most sadly neglected, even by Christians! Few take advantage of True Riches, so these deluded dumbclucks remain spiritually impoverished, choosing the world's passing pleasures and treasures, seeking what will be garbage someday instead of the Pearl of Great Price that lasts forever and ever and ever.
Cash in the check heaven gives you, and you get everything promised on it! The Bank of Heaven will always be solvent, so it will never, never, never bounce and you get hit by returned check charges! God the Father stands behind it, and He has all the money in the Universe at his disposal. And in Christ we are heirs to it!

GRATITUDE TO GOD CENTER:
In the midst of a leftist-swerving nation and perversion-promoting society that is hell-bent, a nation and a people who have abandoned God, I still praise and thank God for sending Jesus Christ, the most illustrious, triumphant, saving God-Man known to earth (all the other "teachers" and religion founders are mere men, unable to save even their own souls from hell). God is everything I need or will ever need. America will pass away, sooner or later, and join all the nations that forsook common sense, forsook sanity, forsook righteousness, forsook truth and the laws of God, for rubbish and garbage and filth and satanic bondage. America will be destroyed, catastrophically, I believe, if our enemies are not restrained by God. They all have the names of our cities chalked on their missiles and bombs, and are just waiting for the right moment to strike when we seem most unaware, most sleepy, and confident in ourselves. Those terms "unaware," "sleepy," "self-confident," describe us in the churches and outside the churches in America right now, in fact. Listen to the garbage spewing forth from the White House mouthpieces--it is all designed to make us even more unaware, sleepy, and self-confident in order to railroad Americans into trusting Obama, not God, for their destinies and well-being and security.
But God is not mocked by these lying, deceitful, deceiving, puffed-up vermin installed as our national leaders. His Holy Word, and his Judgments, will not fail to exact the full punishment we deserve for perversion of innocence in children and for destruction of children in the womb to make billions of bucks for Planned Parenthood. Herod died horribly soon after he had the children of Bethlehem executed in order to wipe out the Messiah of the Jews, Jesus. Herod is roasting in hell in the most terrible pain, and most of his countrymen the Edomites along with his Jewish collaborators, with him. The bill came due for him and his kind, and is being paid, for all eternity, for endless years and uncountable eternities. Our bill, fellow Americans, fellow Christians, is now due. We will pay it, make no mistake about that! We have already been paying the accrued interest in the terrific catastrophes of 9/11 and the hurricanes that destroyed New Orleans and much of the southern coasts. The full destruction of America is just around the corner or, rather, on our doorstep waiting to spring, like a Siberian tiger, at our throats from such tiger-nations as Iran, Venezuela, Russia, North Korea, and their confederates! This is something we can expect, for God and His Word will never fail, not one word of it. Look what happened to the Soviet Union--it has crumbled to dust after only 70 years--all its pomp and pride broken and crushed, like those imposing statues of Lenin and Stalin dragged down from their high and towering pedestals in the public squares and national shrines and smashed into pieces and then dragged to the dump, covered with spit and scorn! Any nation that abandons righteousness and abandons God like the Soviet Union did, and this nation of America has, is doomed. We are doomed, by our own actions and refusal to repent and stop sinning against God.

This little book by F.B. Meyer is a classic Moody Press book, and the article, "The Holy Spirit in this Dispensation," is a message we need more than ever. We hope to feature it here soon, so look for it, and you will not be disappointed.
Would you go as a missionary to these same conditions that this missionary tackled? Probably not! It would scare you too much, and you would run for your life. I for one couldn't do it either. God would have to give me a powerful move of the Spirit to impell me into those conditions. I could never just go on my present strength and resources.
Most heartily recommended is this incredible but all true account of a lone Christian woman (she is a real Christian, not the kind that hugs a pew for dear life!) missionary woman plunging into the most barbaric, uncivilized, buggy, and hazardous jungles of northern South America in Columbia and Brazil in order to reach lost souls in the jungle tribes and villages for Christ. Where most big, strong, weight-lifting North American Christian men fear to go (and would not go if you paid them), the intrepid little Miss Sophie Muller went in their place, because she was available to the Lord, and they were not! She did not go fearless (she was not stupid, by any means, teaching literary and an aphabetizing chart to the Indians so they could become literate in their own language and then read the Bible in their own language), but she went with the strength and courage given her by her Great Commissioner, Jesus. This New Tribes Mission book is a classic, and will always be so. Miss Muller's high degree self-honesty is refreshing to see, as she points out her own short-comings and character flaws and frailties that seem to glare all the more admidst incredible dangers and hardships traversing dozens of jungle rivers, streams, swamps, and waterfalls and rapids in canoes, and sometimes swimming after the canoes capsized-- and often confronted by savage village dogs that attacked her at every opportunity, while enduring bouts of sickness, starvation, parasites such as burrowing jiggers in her feet, cold and exposure to the elements (yes, you can get chills and pneumonia in the tropics!), lack of privacy in busybody-filled villages, hostility of witch doctors, horrible unexplained demonic influences and noises that nobody could trace--there were no end of frightening, discouraging things that could have turned her back in defeat--her simple and truthful and sometimes very humorous account will have you laughing and crying and wide-eyed all the same time as you turn the pages of this little book. It is indeed easy to be a Christian in nice circumstances, but she managed it despite conditions that very nearly killed her at times and at other times merely threatened to make her jungle compost at a young age. It can be read in a few hours at most, but will be unforgettable. Now here is the bad news. I do not promise you can get it (for it was published in 1952, though it was still available as late as 1986 when our New Tribes Mission relatives sent us a copy). For contacting the New Tribes Mission HQ at Sanford, Florida, go to their website, www.ntm.org, and they may or may not be able to furnish you copies. But we will try to include some excerpts here from time to time if that happens to be the case, that you cannot get yourself a copy to read. That is all we can offer you, but you can try yourself to turn the book up and may succeed, if you say a prayer first.

Chapter 2
This is the second day here in the village of Matijaipan, on the Rio Cuyari. The place reeks with yalake (fermented yuka juice). I was wondering why they stayed up almost all last night listening to the strumming of a guitar. They weren't very drunk--just too benumbed to do anything but sit. I was glad the two Kuripako men that brought me from the Rio Giania hadn't gone back yet. They tried to get them to stop drinking and go to their hammocks.
I couldn't sleep, so finally I got up and went over to the doorway of the big clay building where some were sitting, and said in Kuripako: "Kuada kurika wemaaka panaya deepi? Maapikeena noa" (Why don't we sleep tonight? I'm tired).
"Ho," they said, and broke it up for a while.
They've got the stuff in a big, hollowed log in the house where we're having the meetings. I decided not to say anything directly, though, this time, but rather let the Holy Spirit convict of sin through the Word of God, and just pray for souls to be really born again.
This is the fourth day here now, and interest in the Gospel meetings at night is wonderful. Everybody comes but the dying woman. They've just dragged the big, hollow liquor log out of the house and turned it upside down...I believe quite a few of them were really saved last night. We had the lesson on John the Baptist's testimony to the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, and also the calling of the disciples and how they left all to follow him.
I showed them a picture of Judas Iscariot hanging his head--hiding, as it were, from the Light of the World. I said, "If you go to Inyaakaim's (the Devil's) village, you'll see Judas Iscariot there; but if you go to Jesus' 'village', you'll see all these others who love Him." They didn't want to see Judas. I said, "If you want to belong to Jesus, tell Him so now." Then we closed our eyes and knelt to pray. Many of the men started talking to the Lord, one right after the other. The women were afraid and only mumbled. I couldn't understand much, as it was in the Karom dialect..."
What Christian ministry or minister doesn't have a raft of books, CD's, DVD's and even Ipods out for public sale? It is absolutely incredible--is the Holy Spirit really saying all that stuff, and they all claim He is, of course! I don't think so! How do I know I have a good point, questioning all these books that are churned out by countless people and ministries for the Christian markets? This is how I know, comparison!--the fluffy-wuffy books that most Christians consume today do not compare with the books written by past great Christian evangelists such as D. L. Moody, for example. The Holy Spirit is a hot topic for all sorts of books that are expensive, glossy, and soon gone from the shelves--completely forgettable despite their hefty prices. But this book will not share their deserved fate. How do I know that? Well, even after all these years, it speaks plainly, truthfully, convincingly, and spirtually--it does not tell us things we need not know or what do not need to be said. It gives us no fluff or catchy buzzwords, only what we should know that will help us understand and become more Spirit-led Christians, and no more. See for yourself if Moody's book is not worth a thousand contemporary books in the bookstores on the Holy Spirit. You can dig it up in a library, or on Amazom.com, or by writing to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, or by going to the Search engines and typing in Moody's name, or any number of ways.
I believe we have featured this booklet before, but it is so excellent, here it is again. The various days are not just Jewish festivals, they are full of meaning and prophetic events for the Church Age and the Millennium to come. We Christians are so ignorant about Jewish Holy Days! It is pitiful how ignorant we are, when these Holy Days tell us so much about what is happening now and what is going to happen. God made it so. These things are not being read into them--they clearly there, and you will see that yourself if you take just a few minutes to order this book from Jews for Jesus or hop over to the Christian bookstore or go on-line to Amazom.com. Become informed! We are here to be informed, not land up in heaven as ignorant as a newborn and have to be spoon fed elemental things we should have known and learned while on earth. How embarrassed we will be if we enter heaven in such an infantile state when we are grown adults! But, sad to say, millions of us will be doing so, if they don't start changing soon and get busy on the things of God.
American Christians, even their pastors, do not read books (I do not regard anything but a good book a genuine book, it is just a time-killer). I know I was different from childhood on. I loved to read well-written, thoughtful, good books, so that it was remarked about at family gatherings that I had even asked for a book to read when visiting my grandparents! Imagine that--asking for a book to read! This is our downfall as Christians and as a civilization. We are not informed. We can be manipulated, because we do not know the facts. We know the value of reading, but we do not place reading as a high priority, and the children pick up on that, and they don't pick up a book either, after they lay aside children's books (if they ever did read them). Francis Schaeffer was one great Protestant theologian who gave us clear warnings that we would face what we are facing now right at this time--and the dire things that would happen to us if we did not take those warnings seriously. Well, we did not take them seriously. I know. I was around when his book, "How Should We Then Live," first broke on the Christian world. I was in Bible school, and it instantly became a hot topic of conversation and also a matter for the churches to deal with. But it was short-lived and superficial. The interest and concern soon waned, and silly things like consumerism, materialism, self-esteem, entertainment, and self-interest soon regained lost ground in our lives, did they not? The younger generation of Christians continued to turn, not so much to outstanding lusts and sins and rebellion against God as toward generally acceptable worldly pursuits and pleasures and careers, while the culture, devoid of true Gospel and the Word of God and true witness of Jesus from us in our lives, went straight to hell. I know this is the case, as my entire class at a Christian school went that way--and you couldn't reactivate them as Christians if you lit a stick of dynamite--they are not going to budge from their comfort zone situated smack dead center in the lost world and its satanic system.
Well, as for the popular pagan mainstream culture, you can tell from the statistics or by just looking around you or by flicking on the boob tube that the culture is in hell now, and we are pushing with might and main toward the lake of fire, following Obama and calling destruction our "future and hope." In the Study Guide that comes with the book, in Section 13, Alternatives, on p. 61, there is a summary of contents, and it starts with "Paths to Authoritarianism: the Last Five Straws."
This summary details the collapse of our civilization and the stampede into authoritarianism (Big Government and absolutist control over all society).
In the current economic melt-down and the chaos in the financial markets, the socialistic Democrats' heathen god, Big Government, asserts itself as the answer, when it is actually the problem that created the present crisis described here as "The Last Five Straws". If this clear summary and warning from a Christian, a fellow American, who saw things with the eyes of a truth-telling prophet of God, does not wake you up, Christian, to our perilous condition as Christians in America, well, nothing, absolutely nothing, will wake you up in time to keep you out of the anti-Christ's net. Islam and secularism are also part of the current mix, that will force you one way or another, into passively shutting down as Christian or into a prison ultimately if you do not shut up about Christian beliefs and the Bible. These two allies (who hate each other, but work together to defeat a common foe, Christians) seek to eradicate the Christian world-view and consensus in America and the West, along with taking away all religious liberties for Christians by gradual encroachment of Hate Crime legislation curtailing free speech and the First Amendment, which are reserved for others when it comes to Christian expression of those liberties:

There is also the problem that existence poses, either with God or without God, either with absolutes or without absolutes. This problem has been the major driving engine of philosophies such as Romanticism, scientism, evolutionary theory, naturalism, existentialism, nihilism, forming the basis and guiding philosophies for Nazism, communism, socialism, secularism and evolutionism and the various spin-off world views they espouse and use in manipulating and indoctrinating people into supporting those authoritarian systems and their elites. We need, as Christians, to know where we are founded, on what particular world-view, lest we be actively engaged in the enemy's camp, working against the kingdom of God without knowing it. The following "Special Note" will make clearer what this existential problem is and the various false world-views that come from it that are now joined by anti-democratic authoritarisms that will truly rob us of all human meaning and purpose and Christian morality and render us mere cogs of the atheistic, amoral state machinery, while being made participants in the gross, perverse immorality the state sanctions and declares arbitrarily is the social norm.

Go to "A Special Note" by Francis Schaeffer (offered above in the Book Center), if you don't know that every Christian, including yourself, must be an activist, or you are dead in the water, or dead on arrival--dead, dead, dead! A Christian is always in the active mode, never a retiring mode. We never retire, if we are Christians who truly follow Christ. Christ doesn't lie down and take a good, long nap, so neither can we. Soldiers don't sleep on the job. If they do, they are soon very dead soldiers, or captured at least. Be watchful and sober, the Word of God commands us. It doesn't say, "take it easy," or "Christian life isn't meant to be hard, so don't worry, it will all pan out in the end!" Christians today are mostly deadbeats, they have run away from their responsibilities. You see this in the utterly appalling statistics about us as a group. We would do better if we were Hindus perhaps, and take Hinduism more seriously than we now take our Christian faith and the Lord's Great Commission to us His Church. Look how zealously the pagans attend to their idols over in India and elsewhere. They mean business! But we are jsut the opposite. As Christians go we are mostly all nincompoops. We are fat, lazy, selfish, self-centered, and virtually useless to the Lord and His kingdom. We expect to be entertained at church...but I must quit now, before I really get to preaching.

Darwin's comeuppance is coming! You would find a lot of compelling evidence and arguments from science (particularly biology) if you would check out the book, "Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution," by Michael J. Behe, who is NOT a creationist "with an ax to grind," so to speak. He shoots big holes through Evolutionary theory (the Black Box of unproven claims) by showing you, case after case in biology and chemistry, how the theory cannot explain the incredible complexity at which life starts and must begin at (I repeat: must begin at!) if it is to survive. In Blood Clotting, for instance, the components must be created then sit around without any use for a time BEFORE the other parts are brought into existence and begin to function to keep you from bleeding to death; then later after the clot is successful, the clotting process must be stopped, or ALL your blood in your body will clot and you will die. This whole process, Behe shows us, is a mystery that is not explained by science, though it can be described. He shows us that there is no explanation for it in the scientific literature. Only one scientist he quotes has come up with an attempt to explain it, and he did so in terms of the philosphy of yin and yang, not in numbers, which is science, for science is numbers. I am not a scientist or trained in biology and chemistry, but I found the book readable and also fascinating.--Ed.

We desperately needed help in that dark time, and a Polish patriot came to our aid, Kosciuszko by name (misspelled below! We have an essay by Nobel Laureate Czeslaw Milosz on the uniqueness of Poland. He starts it, "Poland has been always a country of faith in the impossible." Bear-bating, boxing, cockfighting, and public hangings--not television, were John Wesley's lively competition. Wesley's preaching ministry sparked a nation-wide revival that saved Britain, not only spiritually by turning millions to Christ for salvation, but saved and reformed the nation top to bottom, a nation that was going to dissolve in a few years into mob rule anarchy, revolution, and a French-style bloodbath. We need to have such a revival, desperately, in America, which is just as hopeless as Britain ever was in the 18th century when John Wesley was raised up by God to preach the liberating, transforming, saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Just as was prayed by many in the meetings of the Wesleys, John and Charles, we can pray in repentance to God too! Here is a prayer of repentance in the Psalms, that for thousands of years perfectly expresses the repentant cry of a sinner to his God for mercy and forgiveness and deliverance:

Since we evangelical followers of Christ have lost America's soul in the battle that has been waged since the 1930s (see Christian activist Phylis Schafly's perspicacious comments in an interview I watched on TV about the time this war for America's soul first began in dead earnest), we might as well acknowledge that old methods have utterly failed, so there is no sense in continuing with them. Let us return to the Bible's war plan, the way God's people waged war in Bible days. Repentance must be a key component in our war strategy to wrest this nation back from the godless, atheist leftists presently led by Obama the nephew-devil and Axelrod his Screwtape-like mentor-devil. What about old-fashioned sackcloth and ashes? We must go to Washington and repent, publicly, for this is a public repentance that is called for, not a closet event. We must repent right in sight of the White House and Congress of our national and individual sins and abominations, which are too many to even itemize here. We must repent for ourselves and the whole people and government, since they will refuse do it. They insist on self-destruction, but there is hope in God if we will do this simple thing: repent publicly. Tea parties of protest against this galloping socialist administration of Obama's are being planned, but they are just old wineskins, which may or may not affect the nation politically for the better. But what we really need is a spiritual revolution and reformation, and it must plunge all the way down to the root causes of our present judgment from God, a judgment (containing a call to repentance) starting with the castastrophic storms of the last three or four decades, proceeding to 9/11 and more and worse storms and hurricanes, then on to breaking the staff of bread by striking our economy in the solar plexus. Slapped in the face by government, courts, people, and churches, universities, schools, entertainment, movies, writers, a long suffering but jealous God has now let let us have the bitter fruits of immorality, self-indulgment, and greed, not to mention the looting of the treasury for personal gain, political aggrandizement, power-lust, craze for drugs and pornography and violence, and all the rest of our sins and iniquities. That was his judgment: drawing back and letting us reap something of what we had sown. But there is far worse to come, surely! If only, like Nineveh, which was about the same as us in wickedness (except they did not have the Gospel, which we have had for over three hundred years!), we put on sackcloth, throw ashes on our heads, and go and cry out to the Lord God for forgiveness of our sins and our nations and our leaders, perhaps God will relent. Perhaps.

Muhammed Ali (aka Cassius Clay) had it right regarding America. Born before the 1960's civil rights demonstrations and the birth of the Democrat's victimization programs for reducing blacks to dependency on big government, he still had the self-honesty and candor to reply to newsmen in New York, as soon as he flew back there from a hero's tour of South Africa, that what he thought about Africa was simply this: "Thank God, Grandpa got off the boat!"
I have a picture of a young, enormously successful Cassius Clay (aka Mohammed Ali) having a wonderful time talking with Billy and Ruth Graham in their rustic Carolina mountain home, that I will share with you when it turns up again! But here is information about the abortion doctor from Rod Parsley on the Breakthrough TV program. Appearing there to tell his story, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, who at one time operated the largest abortuary in the U.S. He and his employees were aborting 150 babies a day, and the tally he estimates of his years in his abortuary is 100 to 200,000 babies. It is with tears he tells this. He was stopped in his track when he was so sickened and appalled (he saw the connection with the Nazis between himself and them) by ultrasound pictures of a living baby being aborted, he could not believe what he was seeing along with a colleague. The baby was literally chased around in the womb by the abortionist's vacuum and then finally caught and dismembered, next the baby's skull was crushed by an instrument, so that the torso of the body could be withdrawn from the womb. This was not what he had known was happening, but the ultrasound did not lie. He had to face the terrible truth. He was sickened and appallled by the truth about what he was doing that he could no longer continue murdering innocent young babies in the womb! Dr. Nathanson is now a chief spokesman for life, not for death, a complete reversal in his life. Appearing on the same program, Carol Everett is another spokesperson for life, not death. She too ran an abortion mill, and her goal was to make $1 million as her commission for one year. She was well on her way toward her goal when God began reeling her in, and she finally came to the foot of the cross, repenting in her office of her crimes against innocent babies in the womb. Today she is serving in a ministry to help pregnant and needy young women keep their babies, not kill them to make a profit for the abortuary. Abortuaries continue, and the tally is something like 50 million, and it keeps climbing. The Obama administration is determined to push the tally much, much higher, with the so-called genocidalist "Freedom of Choice" Act, a bill in Congress that once passed by the Democrats will give every woman and girl the right to abort, without any reason needed. They will have a "right" that no Constitution on earth, leaswise the U.S. Constitution, would recognize and validate. Yet the U.S. Congress, hell in its heart, will probably pass this bill penned by Satan himself. What will you do about this? Will you and I sit idly by, complaining, and do nothing to stop it? We must stop it, and if necessary we must throw our living bodies before the tanks of the government as the Chinese students did in Tiannenmen Square for the sake of freedom. Is that too extreme? What are our lives and our nation worth, once such a bill becomes law of the land? Will we last as a nation for one hour after the bill's passage? How can we? Our nation will give the Almighty one final slap in his face, saying, we have the right now to kill the unborn babies you created in the womb, and you can do nothing to stop us! God forbid that such an outrage continues, and that we go unpunished for it. Justice, along with the voices of over fifty million aborted babies in heaven, cry out against us. Do you hear them? I do. Actually, for real spiritual uplift, go to Jerusalem! You will be sure to find it there, unless you are totally a cynic. I have been to Jerusalem's 1st century era Empty Tomb, which is the greatest Wonder of the World, surpassing all seven listed in the tract. It is empty not because the body of Jesus once interred within the garden tomb by Joseph of Arimathea and
Nicodemus disappeared or was hidden, but because the Person was the God-Man, Jesus Christ, and He rose gloriously from the dead in a resurrected body to live and reign forever. Anderson is right, the Pharaohs' pyramids, the Temple of Diana, even in their original magnificence and immensity, do not compare in the least to the glory of the little empty tomb in Jerusalem. People visiting that empty tomb are most all affected deeply--for it is silent and empty and yet thunderously proclaims the Living and Resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not the splendor of a marble tomb of a great man of ancient times which can say nothing life-saving to us the living. Tombs, empty or otherwise, save nobody, that was not their purpose, nor does the Empty Garden Tomb of Jesus save anyone; it is the Resurrected Jesus Christ who alone saves, when we call on his name for salvation.--Ed.

"The Wonder of Wonders," by Edwin Raymond Anderson
The best series I have ever seen on the Crucifixion and Death of Jesus Christ has to the Kyle Idleman-narrated "The Easter Experience," produced by City on a Hill. I watched the Crucifixion segment on TV the other night, and it was not just heart-stirring, it was heart-wrenching. It takes on this greatest event in history (other than the Resurrection and the Birth in Bethlehem) in an oblique way, by recreating what it may have been like through the eyes and experience of the repentant thief on the cross next to Jesus. One thief, you recall, repented, the other thief did not. What was the repenter like? What did he see in Jesus that made him repent and change and ask forgiveness and also plead that Jesus would "remember him" when He came into his kingdom?
Most intriquing questions, and this dramatization grips them with an intensity and a realism that you will seldom ever see, and probably have not seen before (unless Mel Gibson's "The Passion of Christ" is the same or better). Excluding Mel Gibson's "Passion," I have seen all the recreations of the Crucifixion that are readily available, and you have too, no doubt. But this is a different animal. The tortured thief had real spit and drool dripping from his red lined or bloody mouth as he agonized on his cross next to Jesus--a detail you won't find in more sanitary productions. I cannot stand such hideous brutality wreaked on screaming human flesh as this dramatization shows, but I stayed to watch all of the program shown on TBN the other night, as it was so powerful in its message of who Jesus truly is and what it cost him to be the Savior of the world and of you and me.
This is not a Jesus who has some nice gashes tatsefully arranged on his upper body, and his face unmarked and clean and his beard intact--this is a man who writhed in his blood covering the pavement where he fell when he couldn't bear the cross any longer to the Crucifixion site. The thief too is a real human being, brutalized beyond belief, and even his own expectation. This moment really hit me: When he wakes up from the shock of his being nailed and then mounted up in his place and realizes he is really on a Roman cross, to hang there until he is dead experiencing unbearable tortures of every part of his body--you see his utter despair in his facial expression, and then a cry bursts forth from his gaping mouth, which must be the same kind of cry of every damned soul that ever enters hell and then wakes up to the reality that there is no escape, and the damned soul is there forever, to be tortured indescribably, forever.
Too strong a cup of tea for you? The Easter Experience definitely is strong tea, rather, it is a strong tonic I think we could all use to wake us up out of our Sunday School theology, so that we cast off our flannel-graph Jesus and our flannel-graph or Sesame Street saints and Bible characters once and for all--and...well, go see for yourself what it does to you. I just know what it did for me. If you are looking for thrilling entertainment, go somewhere else. Don't take a holy experience like this one and make like a pig at the trough. You'll be responsible for that someday, and it won't be nice to be in your shoes, believe me. See something like this, and you will never again hang a cross around your neck the same way.

Abortions do not work--they are not to the benefit of society, of the pregnant woman, of the family, of the nation. Abortions only benefit the abortion industry, and Planned Parenthood which reported over 8 billion dollars income (a lot of it tax money handed them by our corrupt, in-the-pocket politicians in Congress, such as my own state's Senator Patty Murray, Senator Maria Cantwell, Representative Adam Smith, and others) since the 1980s. Over 8 billion bucks killing babies who would now be a blessing to our country, their families, and the world! We have lost over 50 million Americans, surely five times the number of the Jewish victims of the Nazi-run Holocaust. And we continue to lose millions--while the gas registers at Planned Parenthood Centers jingles merrily all day long, day in, day out.
Microsoft, which became a big bad wolf with lots of big, sharp, nasty teeth when it started assaulting Goldilocks, the Judaeo-Christian values and beliefs and institutions--Biblical morality, marriage, the traditional family, and so on--while championing homosexuality and immorality of all kinds--is showing signs of its cracking up and going down to the dustbin of bankrupt businesses where such anti-Christian organizations belong. They are laying off thousands of workers in Seattle, right at the corporate headquarters. They are not going to learn anything from this, of course. They think their policies are the correct and right ones, even though their policies assault and denigrate Biblical morality and sanctity of marriage and the God-given nuclear family. Good riddance to Microsoft! It has become Belial, a corporate prince of deviltry. Sin Street in Redmond, Washington, where Microsoft is located, leads only to a dead-end. Is it too late to pray for Bill Gates and his wife? Or the other company heads? They are not beyond the reach of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Someday, each will have to stand before the Lord on his throne. We should pity them and pray for them now while they still have a chance to avoid the coming fires of wrath.

All the incessant hype on TV, radio, in films, in government and so-called scientific reports about global warming, issued to highlight the call to "go green" in every aspect of our lives, is nothing but hype. Hype is used to aid efforts to control us for the advantage of already too powerful people. Please be informed, so you are not deceived by the big government and big money people who are capitalizing on the ignorance of masses of frightened people in America and the West. They are all being panicked like Indians running a herd of buffalo, which are stampeded off the cliff to save some having to shoot them down with arrows, and the planet will not be saved in the least way by all the things demanded of us that we should sacrifice (while Al Gore and Oprah Winfrey and the Rockefellers and the Washington-New York-Boston elites sacrifice nothing).
I do hope all you turned ON your lights late last Saturday instead of off, in protest against the "Save the Planet" madness that is becoming a global campaign to shut down electric plants and reduce us to the 19th century kerosene lantern and candle. Jobs depend on usage, not economizing to the point of lunacy. Civilization depends on electricity, not lanterns and candles. So people's real incomes were hit in a time of economic hardship, all across the world, as hundreds of liberal run cities got on the bandwagon to Dumbie-ville and shut off their lights.
Mr. Al Gore, Pontiff of the Global Warming Religion, did not turn his lights off in his multiple homes on Saturday, by the way. He has earned millions trumpeting the Global Warming hoax as a world crisis, but why didn't he do his part in "saving the planet" on Saturday by turning off his lights and conserving "evil" electricity?
Come let us reason together! 19,000 scientists signed a list in Oregon that says global warming due to human carbon emissions is not scientifically established. But who is listening? The Obama administration is not listening, and wouldn't care anyway. They are moving to on bills that will "cap and trade" carbon credits, a bill that will penalize businesses and not do one thing to reduce carbon emissions but will generate vast sums for the government in taxes and penalties on businesses who do not come up to the arbitrary government-set standards of acceptible carbon emissions. They also are going to shut down the coal mining industry and the coal-burning electric plants which generate so much of our electricity, driving the prices of energy sky-high. They said they would do this, and we can be sure they will move on this bill. So much for compassion for the poor! Make it impossible for them to pay heat bills and have to freeze in the dark and cold in their own houses by making the energy bill impossible to pay!
Genuine science, the true science that is based on the Scientific Method (whereas false science is based on "consensus" and opinion and bias and politics and intimidation), does not support "Climate Change" or the radical leftist environmentalism (which is human population reductionism, pure and simple) that is striving to take over the global economy and shut it down, piece by piece, so that humanity can be reduced to a small, "ecologically justified" number that will aid the "restoration" of pre-human earth. What poppycock! God almighty determines the number of humans on this planet, if you please! He alone has the right to do that, being the Creator of the human race and the world and the universe! He obviously has not set a limit yet, as there is more than enough food being grown on this planet to feed everyone on it nicely, only the injustice and misgovernment and corruption of human governments is preventing the people from accessing it for adequate nutrition. Six billions? That is not a big number to God. Perhaps he has in mind 20 billion human beings for Earth--we don't know. We do know God can easily feed that many--and give us the means to do it too, if we would just humble ourselves and ask his advice.
To these foes of humanity, the population reductionists, humanity is viewed as a cancer, an unfortunate mistake in the evolutionary process that generated the wonderful animals and plants of this world. It will never happen their way. God will intervene, and crush these wicked forces of genocide, which are painted up in green color as if they had something to do with God's plants. Green is not a nice color, politically, though it has been chosen by the Green Party hacks such as Ralph Nader, or put in the name of the Greenpeacers or attached to the vast array of products being turned out that are claimed will "save the Rain Forest," or "save the planet," by the way. Why do I say this? History tells us. Ask the Jews who survived the Holocaust. Green was the color of the uniforms of the Nazi guards who rode the death trains packed with Jews and others the Nazis aimed to exterminate. Green! Green meant death, cruelty, brutality, a police state crushing the helpless. Green was the color of terror.
There is nothing intrinsically wrong with conservation. The God of the Bible makes us stewards of the whole earth, and we are to be responsible stewards, responsible to God for how we treat the earth and its resources and species. But politicized conservation has an ax to grind, and it will grind that ax on the neck of humanity in order to "save" the earth from mankind and the animals too from mankind. A chicken's life will be preferred above a child's. It already is preferred. You cannot torture a chicken, or any kind of animal, without a stiff prison sentence, but you can molest, torture, even kill a child and get away with it. Many do! The uncountable flights out of San Francisco and Los Angeles, bearing thousands of American pedophiles and sadists to Bangkok and other Asian cities that cater to pedophiles engaging in international sex slavery and child prostitution, that reveals the true low value we place on the lives and well-being of children, the most helpless and vulnerable people in our society other than the elderly and the disabled. This is the hellish kind of man-hating world that Paul Newton, Joanne Woodward, Robert Redford, and the other leftist celebs like them have created.
Don't be misled or intimidated by the media, and the politicians, who are in league to push the Global Warming Hoax agenda on us all, and crush the U.S. economy to smithereens to pay for all the parts of their insane program, that will not reduce carbon emissions a whit or have any effect whatsoever on the globe's temperature. Actually, a rising temperature is a good thing, for the world green up more, not less. But the temperature is going down, not up. Anyone can see that in the extremes of cold weather everywhere. So while the Global Warming freaks are screaming about Antarctica breaking up and floating away, it is quietly growing in total ice mass! And don't lose one minute of sleep over the polar bears. Their numbers may fluctuate from year to year, depending on how willing the seals are to jump into their open mouths, but they are so magnificently adapted to the Artic, they won't be vanishing any time soon. WE WILL SOONER VANISH THAN THE PLAR BEARS!
While the Global Warming freaks have the world thoroughly rattled and distracted, the real threat to the globe as well as to humanity is the fact the rogue states, mostly Islamic, are arming themselves with nuclear weapons and bombs. Who would they use them on anyway? Europe is ripe for conquest, for it can be intimidated and blackmailed into submission, into accepting sharia law and mass Islamic immigration. Europe has long lost the will to fight to maintain its freedom. What a show of insane self-abnegation for an American president, and he is supposed to be the leader of the Free World? Millions pubished and printed--perhaps billions--only to end in the trash! Where are the genuine writers? We have a few, but they are lost in the shuffle of all these glossy non-books all claiming to be New York Times Bestsellers.
The greatest English writer, poet, and playwright will probably always be William Shakespeare--there is no one of that stature, either past, or present, and he stands in a class by himself, even after 445 years since his death. From Marvin R. Not just men, but the valiant, teenaged French patriot, Joan of Arc, wore armor and commanded an army in battle against one of England's "Horrible Henrys," and his

He may not even be an American citizen, he may be a Kenyan hiding the fact he is a foreigner masquerading as a citizen born in Hawaii! In any case, his agenda, philosophy, and record as a socialist agitator in Chicago and later his legislative record in the Illinois legislature and even in the U.S. Congress all prove that he is a very wicked fellow out to overthrow the United States of America from within his office of president. They brought in mediums such as Jean Dixon and consulted the spirits of the dead. Some of the latest First Ladies to do so had Billy and Ruth Graham as guests in the White House--so it is not that these First Ladies have any excuse for what they did. Then their husbands fell into immorality as well. The immoralities and adulteries committed there by Franklin D. Roosevelt, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, and William Clinton, are also public record (though it was kept from the American people by a White House press that went along with these sins of the Presidents by saying nothing and looking the other way). Because of these and other
sins, running rampant, administration after administration, in the White House, the
whole joint is infested with the Devil.
Now there is a wolf howling outside the windows, after they ignored the Word of God and also the advice and example and messages of Billy Graham. Can the wicked people inside, plotting and scheming

holy Word of God in Proverbs, howling its eternal truths and warnings:

A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin." These scriptures, Proverbs 26: 23-28, describe the Man of Deceit (who has seven abominations in his heart), which President Barak Hussain Obama and all his entourage have joined to make in order to seat a veritable anti-christ beast in the Oval Office of the White House. Years ago at Bible school I had a strange dream that had nothing to do with
social condtions at the time--that was the late 1970's. I saw Jews wearing yellow Stars of David patches on their shirts and evidently being terrorized by the society here in America. Well, that is coming true, in the world-wide resurgence of Nazy-style anti-semitism in the Moslem world and also in Western countries such as France, Argentina, and in Asian countries too, such as India, and others. My far-fetched dream turned out to be prophetic, did it not? I told it to the Bible school director, so he was informed of it, and he did not deny it was possible, even though there were no signs of anti-Semitism here in the America at the time. With the likes of U.S. Attorney General
Napolitano, we are in the grips now of a neo-fascism that will no doubt turn virulently and violently anti-Semitic. We seen churches, mainline denominations such as the Methodists and the Presbyterians, already turned anti-Semitic, due to Replacement Theology and also hatred for the free democratic society of Israel in preference for the authoritarian regimes of Moslem countries and the Palestinians (all in the guise of supporting human rights too!).

Number 1 in international affairs: NEVER DISCOUNT A MINORITY, OR EVEN A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS SINGLE-MINDEDLY COMMITTED TO AN IDEA OR AN AGENDA OR PHILOSOPHY. As if the case of the Jews who produced Jesus Christ, and whose followers turned the Roman Empire upside down within a few years and transformed history for all time, dividing it into B.C. and A.D., weren't enough confirmation that Rule #1 is true! Yet many people still do not know that it takes only a tiny minority to overthrow governments and
create a revolution, subjecting the vast majority to its will and ideology? Apparently! The Muslim Jehadists, all Arabs, did it centuries ago, conquering Christian Egypt and
North Africa and Spain, and
Christian Palestine, Christian Syria, and Christian Asia Minor, followed by Christian Greece, Christian Bulgaria, Christian Serbia, Christian Hungary, just to name some of the Christian countries the Muslim armies led by Mohammed's followers conquered. All these countries had Christian majorities, and few Arabs, if any. But the Arabs overcame them with superior military might and remained as the ruling powers and elites, subjugating the Christians and reducing them to minorities as time went on and Arab emigration and mass Arab baby production continued to increase Arab numbers.
The communists have done the same thing time after time, starting with Russia. They were a tiny minority in Moscow and Leningrad, but they were well organized, of one mind and spirit, with a chosen leader they fanatically followed to the death, and you know the rest: they swung the sword, killing millions and all who resisted them, and hacked out the huge Soviet Empire, a vast slave camp ruled by a communist elite, which remained a tiny minority during its own tenure as slave masters of Russia and Eastern Europe.
So there is a most naive fallacy, when it is thought that a tiny minority of radical Moslems or Muslims are "just a small, unrepresentative minority," not world-changing in potential and objective. But history shows and proves that is all it takes--a tiny minority who are single-mindedly committed to one objective, one dream, one madness! So the idea that minorities don't really matter that much is a fallacy, a very dangerous fallacy, a very bad view to take. Yet our State Department and last president swallowed the minority-is-harmless fallacy, hook, line, and sinker! As for the "War on Terror," it has now, thanks to them, devolved into the a "problem of Extremism."
Our leaders and the press and media and government proceeded down this road to disaster, once they began thinking that it was just a tiny minority involved in the Twin Towers and Pentagon incidents, which were catastrophes that almost brought this nation to its knees. The full-blown plan of the jehadists, in fact, would have utterly paralyzed and shattered
New York, killing tens of thousands at multiple transportation hubs and systems and shutting down the entire economy based on
New York corporations and Wall Street. But that much greater catastrophe and take-out (and the Congress or White House was also a target, let it be remembered!) did not happen, thanks be to God's mercy. And it was quickly trivialized and forgotten in the rush to render the incident "logical" and "a matter for administrative review." Yes, the War on Terror continued with the invasion of Afghanistan and after that, Iraq, but the terms of it were constantly being defined by the press and intelligentsia in Washington and New York in a way that was intended to end such efforts. So, with some help from President Bush and his almost inarticulate White House Staff (who as products of Republican country-club etiquette, were instructed to never go on the offense against their declared enemies in the press or present an affirmative, idealistic message of constructive hope for America that could capture the aspirations of the people), the fallacy continued, and then another fallacy joined it in the thinking of intellectuals and government leaders and policy makers: the fallacy of moral equivalence.
What is that? Moral equivalence says that apples are oranges since they are both fruits. That is a fallacy, which you can see it plainly in this example. Oranges and apples may be fruits, but it obvious they are very, very different in taste, texture, structure, appearance, smell, habitat, nutritional makeup, DNA, and other vital respects. Yet this fallacy gained the ascendency in political thinking, helped along by the first fallacy, that tiny minorities don't matter that much and are
controllable. "Moslem" was therefore dropped in referring to Moslem jehadists early on, so as not to offend the so-called majority Moslem population of "moderates."
First, they were called terrorists only, then even that is dropped, changed to "extremist." So we have moral equivalence bringing us to a most dangerous situation, where anyone branded extremist can be equated and, consequently, treated the same. Conservatives and Christians have been branded "right-wingers" and "radicals" by the liberal media and press, and not much was thought about that, though it wasn't true they were radical, and many who are conservative are not necessarily part of the "religious Right" once led by Jerry Falwell. What this leads to is the government of the U.S. and other Western Countries viewing Christians and Conservatives as "radicals" and then as
"extremists," putting them into the same category as Moslem jehadists who are now called "extremist" by Obama (we can suppose he means to de-claw them by calling them nicer names, but it is doubtful the tiger will go along with Obama's political, semantic game!). Obama vows to defeat these "extremists," but he might as well promise to defeat the Conservatives and Christians in America too, who are now in his assault rifle sights for extermination. Yet will he treat these apples and oranges the same?
No, he will not! He considers the Moslem jehadists extremists to be capable of negotiation; but as for Conservatives and Christians, he will not negotiate with them in the least. His chief enemy, in his opinion, has to be the Conservatives and Christians who oppose most all his agenda, if not all. Once he has negotiated peace with the Iranians and the jehadists attemping to blow up our cities, he will go to war, the real War on Terror in his agenda, against Conservatives and Christians. He will do it cold-blooded, from ideology alone. Marx was anti-Christian, atheist, calling "religion" the "opiate of the people." Obama believes it is too, when it is evangelical, Conservative, Christ-only-faith. Evangelicals hold to absolutes, and maintain that God is
above all human authority, but this Obama cannot abide, he must eradicate such people. He is like any Lenin or talin or Hitler or authoritarian ruler in this respect. He has to proceed a little more carefully, not having a Gestapo yet to do his bidding and
enact massacres and mass imprisonments of any people groups that threaten his power base, but he is proceeding this Leninist program of power grabbing by firing off executive orders like an artillery barrage against all our liberties and freedoms. Simultaneously, a grovelling, sychophantic, subservient Congress of Democrats are firing off
a barrage of bills that support their master's takeover of the United States and the
makeover of its entire governmental system.
E. Christian Kopff wrote "The Devil Knows Latin: Why America
Needs the Classical Tradition." It is an excellent, scholarly, insightful book in many topics he takes up regarding his them, but I just noticed in
looking into it again that it contains the--alas! this is much more than a fly in the ointment--Fallacy of Moral Equivalence. He actually says on pages 269-271 that the Big Apple mafia leader, called Godfather, is the same as the President of the country. "'Godfather' is not a documentary about a twisted criminal society," Kopff observed as if he were a Bible scholar, "it is about real life." Michael [in the Godfather film] says to his old girlfriend, "Kay, my father is no different from any other powerful man--any man who is responsible for other people, like a senator or a president." She protests that he has had men killed, that he sounds naive to her. Presidents and senators don't act that way. He replies, "Now who's being naive, Kay," he answers. Kopff agrees wholly with Michael! He goes on to say that the Bible is about real life, the mixture of good and bad.
Not true, Mr. Kopff, it is not a mixture. True, it is not sanitized to exclude the faults of real men and real women, but that does not make it a blend or mixture. It is not about moral equivalences such as you have compromised with! Sorry to say, you represent an entire generation of intellectuals and government leaders today in the highest circles and even in the chair of the President, but you are flat wrong. The Bible is about black (true), but it is also about white, it is about unrighteousness, but it is really pointing to righteousness (and the source of all true righteousness), which is Christ the Lord. It is about unholiness of men, but it has the solution and the cure, Jesus Christ, and it is pointing all the while to the Holiness of God on high that we can attain through Christ alone! We must come up to God's holy, righteous level, Mr. Kopff, not drag him down to our moral slimepit of moral equivalences, where your mafia godfathers as well as bomb-pack-carrying Moslem jehadists are equated with praying Christian grandmothers and little children in Sunday School.
The hell-inspired fallacy of moral equivalence has driven the Western World to the brink of self-destruction. The enemy will march right in, after intimidating us into silence. We are gagged, we cannot even criticise our attackers, according to this fallacy, or we will be labelled
"extremist" and perpetrators of hate speech. In Holland people are fined for making ethnic jokes. Under hate speech laws that are now going to be passed soon, the fines will be trivial, if imposed, compared to the other punitive measures taken against Christians and Conservatives. Well, we must then take up our cross in defense of the truth and bear that label too of haters, just as in the Roman Empire Christians were labelled cannibals, drinkers of blood, atheists, and traitors because they wouldn't bow down and worship the Emperor as a god! In this age of compromise with falsehoods of every kind, when masses of people, including evangelicals, are bowing to the false gods of this age, we must
hold up the truth, which is the only hope of the world, the only future for the world. that truth, that hope, is and can only be Jesus Christ, who declared, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life;
nobody comes to the Father but by Me."
Yes, not every war is just--most are caused by envy and greed--but this one surely was just in heaven's eyes! Conscientious objectors have a case in many wars, not not all. Anyone would would refuse to fight for freedom and one's faith, if pushed to the wall by an attacking enemy force, is not worthy of having freedom and faith. Jesus never said not to fight for such things, but to champion your faith with a sword, that he would never countenance! The Turks did that, but Christians should never take up the sword to spread the Christian faith--only defend their homes and motherland and their allies as well. This problem has plagued Christians since earliest times--is war just or not just. When is there just reason for war, or are all wars unjust in heaven's sight. We know the answer from the Bible. All wars are not unjust. Some are justified. God even commanded wars to be fought, in the forcible taking of the Promised Land from its heathen
residents by the children of Israel. And he recommended others, as various righteous kings of Israel or Judah sought God's will on whether to go to war or not. The Bible makes it amply clear that some wars are justified and should be fought. But others, most others, clearly were man's own doing alone--and not justified. They were hateful in God's eyes. Today many people have become wishful pacifists, thinking that mere talk will solve international disputes or even bring peace to the Middle East between Israel and the Moslem Arab and Iranian states. They should review history, read up on the battle for Vienna by the invading, imperial Ottoman Turkish armies of the Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent. He meant to take all Europe and add it to his empire, as he considered himself the Caesar of Europe, after his forebear, Sultan Mehmet took Constantinople from the last Christian Byzantine emperor, Constantine. What Christian pacifist of today
would think it was just to allow such a thing to come to pass, without taking a stand?
Would talk have dissuaded the sultan? Talk had already occurred, and accomplished nothing. They had no end of embassies and ambassadors in that day, and all sort of treaties being forged and signed, just as today, and still no peace was assured. The sultan was imperialistic, greedy, vain, and hostile to anyone who dared cross his will, and
considered himself the appointed emissary of Allah to effect the conquest of Christian Europe and
add it to the House of Islam.
Today we face the sultan's children, these jehadists from the various Moslem countries of the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East. They are even settled in our midst in the West, biding their time to strike us in our own streets, towns, and cities. But we must stand up as Christian men and women to defend ourselves and our homes and families. We have armies, but they are not our first line of defense. We have to be in constant prayer and in living a righteous life despite the immoral popular culture bequeathed us by the rasacally secularist-humanists now in the ascendency in the West. They will not stand against tyrants and Moslem jehadists and fight for our freedom and our faith--we must do it! They have no interest in fighting for freedoms and liberties they exploit but heartily despise--they rather like authoritarianism, as long as they can remain safe and secure in the wealthy elite while the rest of the citizenry wallow in squalor and poverty they can divide up into minorities and exploit politically. It is we Christians of today, like King Jan III Sobieski and his valiant Poles, who must affirm and
fight for what we cherish, our freedoms and our faith in Christ--lest we lose them them as cowards deserve to lose them.
Jesus said, that if a man is ashamed and does not acknowledge Him, then He too will not acknowledge that man before His Father in heaven.
So if you cannot, with conscience, remain on the sidelines, quoting the verse where Jesus said to his followers, that whoever takes up the sword will perish by the sword. He never intended us to think we were not to engage in self defense or fight for the protection of our liberties and our country. It is a duty to bear a gun for freedom, or, if conscience does not permit you that, go as a medic, but go meekly, not protesting and defiant, to the army stockade for the duration if you won't even be a medic. In anything you do choose to do, do not run from your duties and responsibilities before God to defend your country, your honor, your faith, and your family and loved ones. Anyone who refuses to do that, is worthy of the lash, not the blessings. Others before us paid with their blood and lives so that we could have a free country--how can we throw it away, without lifting a finger in our country's defense? That is the most cowardly thing we could do--let
our enemies walk in and destroy our hard-bought freedom.
I was once in a Quaker church and in a Quaker college where this issue came up in the First Gulf War. The Quakers around me could not, or were reluctant to speak out, to resolve the burning question raised at a school chapel by the agonized young man struggling with his conscience over whether to fight or not to fight in war. But the Word of God resolves it quite well. God never spoke against self defense, national defense, and resistance against every form of oppression and tyranny--never! He is always on the side of freedom and liberty. And such things require sacrifice, eternal vigilance, and even blood and lives on occasion. It is man who is confused by his own faulty wisdom and his own vain philosophy.

I can personally vouch for Shakespeare's writing within the context of the Christian world-view. In the early 80's, I was privileged to visit Stratford and tour the Shakespearean Theatre grounds and viewed the cottage of
Anne Hathaway and saw how they lived in Anne's and Shakespeare's time. I also saw a Shakespearean play in London. The chief effect on me came through his writing's however, particularly his classic play, Hamlet. It was while reading Hamlet that I forsook my
liberal and atheistic world-view at college and saw that man has dignity as created by God, he is not the result of blind and godless evolution or a random universe. This view is essential if you are to know the truth about yourself and the world, as it is Biblical, and I was well on the way back to God after backsliding and throwing God out of my young Christian life. I owe a great debt to Shakespeare, consequently, for helping me to return to God, for helping through his magnificent drama to restore my belief in the dignity of man as I viewed the
the tremendous, agonized struggles of soul and spirit in Hamlet as he wrestled night and day with the raging demon of revenge in his own unforgiving heart as he tried to deal with the immoral love affair of his mother with his uncle the king of Denmark. No animal you can name on this earth could or would agonize over moral issues like that! Only a creature created uniquely in God's image made the issue even possible! Lest we be made utter fools by our godless culture, do you see that too? Man is definitely a purpose-embued creature, created in God's image by the hand's of God, not the product of a blind evolutionary force of atoms and molecules knocking randomly together and somehow making a man after billions of years! Could any view be more ridiculous and impossible than Darwin's? That is clearly the case, and I could not deny it after reading Hamlet. Read Hamlet, if you have not. Or check out a library video and see it played, at Ashford, Oregon, or any other place it is done in an excellent way. You will not have such a problem with Darwin's unworkable theory after that, when you compare a man like Hamlet with a chimp or a fish or a bird or a cat or dog or whale. There is really no comparison! The difference is so great, though we share many physical traits with animals, it is true, that we might as well be considered gods over the animal kingdom, not really part of it. As said on Dr. Baugh's Creation in the 21st Century program on TBN, it is time to let go of 19th century thinking and move into the 21st century science. This science is making known for the first time the anthropic nature of the Universe, which was not known or scientifically accessible to Darwin and other 19th century naturalists with the limited scientific techniques of their time. The Bible and science are not enemies--it is science that is at last catching up with what the Bible teaches and made known thousands of years ago about the nature of man and the universe. Shakespeare, genius that he truly was, saw man's full-orbed uniqueness in the realm of creation--and knew enough science to see that his view agreed with not only the facts but also with the truths of the Bible--there was no contradiction or hostility between the two. That is why I can say Shakespeare's works will be immortal, so to speak, as long as the earth endures, for he spoke truly about man, he did not lie or distort the truth or man's condition to suit his own philosophy, as so many evolutionist, Darwinian writers do today in order to be politically correct and sell their films, books, plays, and poetry. They will be forgotten, thrown in the trashbin, all of them, someday, but Shakespeare's dramas and poetry and sayings will live on and on and on.

The greatest book after the Bible arguably is Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan, an English man of God who was imprisoned for his faith in Christ and wrote this immortal, allegorical story about a troubled, seeking man who struggled to find the road to life and to escape the City of Destruction he and his family were living in, and who fled home and a wife and family who preferred their lives of sin only to encounter many pitfalls and hazards and detours on the road to the Celestial City of God. Are you satisfied with your life in the worldly, sinful City of this world? If so, you are lost, headed for destruction. But if you want a better city, a better country that God has made for you, that will last forever and where where will exist no sin and unhappiness and darkness, then you must leave the worldly, sinful City of Destruciton, as Christian the Pilgrim in Bunyan's story did. Then, after
you set out on this journey as a born again, committed child of God, if you want to know why you are experiencing hard things and why, here is the pictured account of your own spiritual journey, start to end. Let's hope you end as Christian, the Pilgrim, did! He made it to the Celestial City, by God's grace, strength, and Spirit. Will you depend on God completely and not give up? If you give up, you won't reach the goal, Heaven's shining gates.

The latest April issue of Levitt Letter has an article about the British king, King Alfred the Great (the only one titled "great"). He truly earned the
title. A devout Christian (unlike the apostate, secularist, adulterous Prince Charles today who is next in line for the throne), King Alfred of Wessex united his country against the invading, seeming unconquerable Vikings and drove them back to the point they quit trying to take over the whole of England and make it a heathen land like the one they came from. He saved not only the Christian faith in England, but learning and literacy and also Bible scholarship. He himself translated scripture and books, and thought the spiritual side equally important to the political sphere in running his kingdom justly before God's gaze. We would do very well with such a leader today, but where is he when we need him? England was indeed blessed! Rather, we have in charge of our nation (voted in by ignorant or corrupted people!) heathen barbarians worse than the Vikings, intent on plundering our country, reducing it to poverty while they live in luxury and wealth they stole from us, and making us a pagan instead of a Christian nation (while letting a radical Islam

According to the Lamplighter, Killinger says that Jesus never claimed to be the Savior of the world, that Daniel was "fibbing a lot" in his prophecies, that Mark is a Gnostic writing, and there really is no God in the first place. Why be a theologican then (much less a "Baptist" and "Christian evangelical,") if there is no God, no saving Jesus Christ, no truth in the Bible, Mr. Killinger? Your name starts with "kill." That is most fitting. You are so named because you are out to twist and warp and kill the truth if you can--that is your devil's mission in life, obviously. Well, you are a liar, the truth cannot ever be killed, and so the lake of fire is your reward ultimately! Your attacks on God and the Bible and even the Lord Jesus are all old and worm-eaten cheese, they have been done before, a thousand years and more ago, and you bring nothing new to the table of the atheists and Christ-haters. What a poor wretch you are, despite your smile! Inside, you are nothing but falsehood, lies, nihilism, deception, and guile, and bad, outdated, discredited theology--that is, satanic darkness.

Will Obama ever quote the views of his esteemed "mentor" and "forerunner" Abraham Lincoln that conflict so diametrically with his own? Don't hold your breath! He wouldn't dare. Every view of Abraham Lincoln is death to Obama's immoral, socialist and even authoritarian, Marxist agenda, so he cannot quote him, unless he twists the meaning of every word! If you cannot see the faces clear enough, there is clear evidence in the picture,
in the very sober and earnest expressins of the people present, that Lincoln's words were used and brought deep conviction of the Holy Spirit and even tears of repentance in this gathering (see the man with the handkerchief wiping his eyes?)--if only we would heed Abraham Lincoln today--is that too much to pray and hope for? I think not. We know from the divine record of God's dealing with us human beings, that God will intervene and save people in the most hopeless, disastrous circumstances, exactly when it appears they will be wiped out and utterly destroyed because of their own folly. But if only those wretched, terrified, beaten people about to be destroyed will just cry out to the Lord in their distress, acknowledging they are sinners and needful of His grace and mercy, God will not turn aside, he will respond immediately! He has done this countless times all through the Biblical record of Israel and then beyond the Bible's pages through the histories of
innumerable nations and peoples and tribes. God is the same God through all the ages. He never changes. He has mercy enough for us--for his mercy is infinite and new every morning. He WILL save and rescue us erring Americans from our sins, individual and national, save us from our apostasy, worship of the Almighty Buck, and slavish devotion to power, celebrity, violence, pornography, luxury, self, and greedy, self-indulgence lifestyles. God has enough mercy to save even us! Let's call on His name for
deliverance and mercy. He will answer us if we call, even at this late hour. We don't need Obama and his crew. We need God.

Every school child in America should be taught about him, giving the account of his conversion too. I spoke of him before on this page. Remember Captain Mitsuo Fuchida, who led the Imperial Japanese bombers in the Pearl Harbor attack? That single surprise attack was so successful, mainland America, starting with the West Coast, was laid wide open to invasion (something the Japanese did not know, but could have exploited, if they had, with catastrophic results to all us Americans!). Navy, was a bombadier in the Doolittle bombing raid on Tokyo and was captured in China and interred and tortured in a Japanese prison. Jake came to Christ reading a Bible handed out to the prisoners, repenting of his great hatred for the Japanese, and coming to love them instead with God's love, nothing he himself could manufacture. Later, on release at the end of the war, he returned home, went to Seattle to a seminary, married a lovely Christian woman who wanted to be a missionary, and together they joined their
efforts as he became an evangelist to the very people he had formerly hated. Well, Captain Mitsuo Fuchida was one of the many hundreds and thousands who heard or read the American POW DeShazer's startling testimony of how he changed from a man of hate to a man of love for his enemies, and this former hero of the Japanese came to know God's forgiveness and became a follower of Christ too. Fuchida and DeShazer met, joined together, were co-evangelists in Japan. Guest expert speaking out on Oprah: "It is not unusual for men and women to sexually molest their children." That is clearly an outright lie. There are no statistics to support it, nor were any statistics given to support it. Oprah let this stand in the tape, and did not edit it out.
This confirms my contention, that she deliberately assaults the family, particularly parents, trying to supplant traditional parents with same-sex partners as "mommie and mommie," or "daddie and daddie". How can she do that? She does it by defaming and discrediting traditional parents, and makes every dad out to be a molester or at least
an abuser. By daily parading the sins of some members of this liberalism-poisoned and corrupted society, she is determined to destroyed the Biblical foundations of our society, by destroying the family that God instituted. God will hold her responsible for this
terrible crime. I think she is not a good person, as she purports to be. She is a rotten person. You do not have to look rotten to be rotten. Rottenous, as Christ identified it in his confrontation with the Pharisees and scribes, is a spiritual condition within. He called them sepulchers full of dead men's bones, but whited (covered over with
spotless white paint) to look nice. Oprah spends tens of thousands a year to look nice, she is "whiting" (no pun intended) herself. This "whited Oprah" is a manufactured, carefully tailored image, that has no reality but will fool most people watching it.
Behind the facade, however, is a reality that is stinking and rotten. Dead men's bones,
half-decomposed carrion, worms, bugs, and the stench of rottenous and death--that is what fills the smiling, gregarious, witty, charming, state of the art "whited Oprah." She herself is nothing but a lying, self-centered, selfish cheat and hedonist, totally insecure, who stuffs herself with
mass public acclaim and worship daily, along with the hundreds of millions she gets in salary and other perks for perpetrating her daily crime of deceiving masses of
foolish young women and people across America. To try and hold off the judgment she fears for her actions, she defames Christ and the Cross in her productions, as often as she can. She panders incessantly to the Leftist, secularist agenda, supporting
gay rights and same-sexers, endorsing Obama as president, anything she can do to
destroy the Bible and a Christian America that stands as a rebuke to her and her wicked
ways.
Pro-lifers are now termed domestic terrorists, according to U.S. Attorney General
Napolitano in her recent report on the threats she declares that America faces. This report was
approved by Obama and was sent out to law enforcement agencies nation-wide. I heard this report several days ago, and the part that is most
troubling is the part I have cited. In other words, we evangelicals who support
life for the unborn babies are now equated by our own government with Timothy McVeigh. Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma County City Building bomber, is the same as us?
How lunatic can our government become? It is in the last stage of insanity, apparently.
We are now no longer merely "extremists" along with Al Qaida and other Moslem Jehadists who violently attack Western societies, we are "domestic terrorists" who are home-grown, according to our own Attorney General of the U.S. Are you getting concerned yet? You and I
need to be. Kristalnacht (the smashing of Jewish store front windows and shops and businesses and homes by
Nazi thugs) is not far distant. Concentration camps (authorized by the Attorney General for "sensitive training" for evangelicals and all those who are pro-life) are not out of the question either. It is all a logical repeat of the 1930's in Nazi-run Germany.
Modernism is an evil that invaded the churches and seminaries and Bible colleges over 70 years ago; and has been working since to eat out the heart of our spiritual connection with God ever since, and doing a very good job at it. You don't have to know it exists for it to be feeding on you, twisting you into anything it likes, because it has control, like an octopus, of every vital part of your world-view, thought-life, and spiritual being, sucking out everything that is of God and subsituting the devilish spirit of this satanic world system that is totally opposed to Christ. Exaggerated? Hardly! I could not tell you how bad it is--it is worse than can be said in human words. Just look at some of the disastrous fruits of it, when you read the message by

What happened to the "War on Terror"? It was

"happen" to be Hamas freedom fighters, fire rockets paid for with U.S. and European aid money on Israeli people from so. Lebanon or Gaza. If you attack others, they are "extremists." What is going on? The men who attacked the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were nothing but Moslem jehadists, that is, Moslem terrorists. That is a fact, and they said so themselves in their prior statements. But our government quickly began slipping down the slope of accommodation and spin in the weeks that followed. First, they were called "radicals" by our press and government and "Moslem" appeared less and less, to distinguish them from so-called "moderate Moslems," whom are supposed and said by former President Bush to be pacific or peaceful, not given to violence. How was that view ever proven? Truly, it was not proven, it was a mere belief, a mere assumption, based on political expediency.
These "moderate Moslems," were presumed, without evidence, to be the silent majority, and so the radicals were the tiny minority that was not "representative." That was the logic and twisted semantics they used to devise a state policy--which is extremely flawed on a number of counts.
MILITANT, JEHADIST ISLAM IS BACK STORMING THE GATES OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION, AND WE NEED ANOTHER SUCH KING OF POLAND! If Poland had NOT come to the aid of the West, in the Turkish

She is in Israel as part of a joint program of MDA and the Jewish Agency, which brings Jewish youth to volunteer in this country. Upon her arrival, Borowska was stationed at the MDA unit in Ashkelon, but when the fighting in the south broke out she was given the possibility of moving to another unit far from the rockets, but chose to stay. "Yesterday we were alerted to the landing site of one of the rockets where a young man had been killed," she said. Our team treated a man who was injured by shrapnel. In connection, Billy and Franklin Graham's latest Decision magazine carries the theme, the Blood of Christ, in all its main articles. We also want to feature "Modernism and Tomorrow's Church," by Y. L. Ylvisaker, which is a companion piece to our already featured, "Good Without God," by W. E. Sangster, which shows the disaster for the church and for Christian faith in individuals and in society when goodness is divorced from morality, God, and the Bible. You should check out at the library or buy at Wal-Mart or a Christian bookstore or order on-line the video or DVD film, "Time Changers," which deals with the same issue ina most dramatic way you will find fascinating, as it uses time travel to make its point more graphic, by transporting a church school professor with a book of theology about to be published to the streets of today's Manhattan urban jungle. His discoveries conclusive convinces him his theology is wrong, that good cannot be divorced from God and still remain good. TBN also has this film on DVD, and I received a copy from them.
