B.I.B.L.E.--"Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth"--Acronym by Pastor John Hagee, Cornerstone Church, San Antonio, Texas. It is hard to come up with anything better, right? Maybe you can. Put your Thinking Cap on. Try it! Then let me know in a year if you came up with something that can top his!

Back in 2003, my mother met the man, Edward Conlin, who served as a member of Boeing's Lunar Rover team to design and build the Rover for the Apollo 15 moon mission, which is on the Moon now at this moment, by the way, waiting for the astronauts to return! Mr. Conlin gave my mother a large framed picture of the Apollo 15 Moon Mission landing module and an astronaut standing on the moon beside the newly raised U.S. Flag, and the Rover a short distance away across the footprinted lunar soil. Written in ink at the bottom is: "To the Boeing Team with many thanks for the contributions to the success of Apollo 15," followed by the signatures of Dave Scott, Al Worden, and Jim Irwin. She has it hanging in her home, and it is a valuable keepsake to her, for the Moon has always been a special wonder to her of God's creation. From the National Geographic, Sept. 1973, here is an excerpt of the article by a Moonwalker and the mission commander of Apollo 17, David R. Scott: "In a little hollow in the moon dust we place a stylized figurine of a man in a space suit and beside it another metal plaque bearing the names of the 14 spacemen--Russian and Americans--who have given their lives so that man may range the cosmos. Finally, we deposit a single book: the Bible." It is a beautiful thing they did, so that the Word of God could circle the earth until the Lord, the Living Word of God, returns! Surely, the Lord blessed NASA, enabling the Apollo teams to complete their missions without any loss of life on the Moon or going to and returning from it.

THE SOUL-SAVING WORD OF GOD IN BRAILLE:

Put your hands tight over your eyes, then try to walk, and how far will you get without stumbling, or knocking something over, or even falling? That is how most people, many Christians, go through life. The Bible describes itself in the Psalms as a lamp to our feet, a light to our path, but they don't read the Bible, and therefore they walk a dark path on which they can see nothing ahead. How do they know there isn't a pit Satan has dug right in front of them to catch them? He often does that, as a matter of fact, since he knows we won't see it in time, due to the fact our Bibles are seldom opened and we are going blindly by faulty natural sight, not spiritual sight. Braille is for those who are blind, a way they can read without eyes yet receive the guiding light of the Gospel spiritually for their life path. We who have seeing eyes are also blind unless we read the written Word and allow it to illumine our life path. There isn't much difference between us then, is there. Without the Word of God, we are both blind, only one group is blind both physically and spiritually, that is the only diffeence. Without the Bible guiding us day by day, hour by hour, we are rendered blind moles burrowing through the dark earth, without a clew where we are going, or what lies ahead. Why live so miserably like that? We can walk a lighted path if we want to. God gives us light through His Word each day, if we just open it up and let the Spirit speak to us.

My relatives were ordinary people, mostly from a farm background, except that they loved God so much they stepped out of the ordinary category, in a way that would draw wandering, lost souls to the Savior they loved. One of two Gospel Signs put up by my mother and relatives along highways in South Dakota after my flier Dad and my young college-attending, Christ-centered uncle crashed and died when fox hunting. Hundreds came to the Lord hearing about the tragedy, knowing that any human life can be cut short at any time. A thousand came to the funeral, jamming the church so that the service had to moved to a school auditorium in town. Thousands more heard about the crash on the radio and read about in the biggest city newspaper in SD, the Argus Leader, which covered not only SD but ND, Iowa and other surrounding states too. God used this event, as many wondered how God could allow it, or wondered how Christians could take a double tragedy in their family like these did, still believing and trusting in God, not blaming him. Many also rededicated their lives to Christ, who had been backsliding or even abandoning God gradually. The signs too gathered many to the Lord, as the clear messages on them sank into human hearts of hundreds and thousands who passed by them on the road. Ordinary people, yet they had an extraordinary message of hope, faith, and life transformation to give to needy souls.

Can a White House be wicked too? Many think we cannot judge our president and his staff, they must be prayed for and not be held accountable to the moral law established by Almighty God for everyone in the Universe. Somehow, they think, our leaders are exempt and beyond such a law. Christians can't judge their highest leaders, they think. But how about this little question I put to you for the sake of the $50 million aborted children Americas abortionists have killed so far? They can't speak to us here, true, but they are speaking day and night to God in heaven, pleading for Him for justice on their behalf. Here is the little question for you, that you should be able to answer biblically, since you must have heard about the Commandment, Thou Shalt Not Kill. What do you say about a President and White House that promotes the wholesale killing for profits of the unborn in abortion mills across the country and even campaigns the same kind of slaughter overseas with our tax dollars. More importantly, how do you think the Lord God, who created these babies in the womb, feels and think about it? Does He look the other way, does he forgive it, and move to something else? Or does he grieve and abhor it with all his heart, and is he about to allow our utter destruction for crime against the innocents if we do not repent and stop it? GRATITUDE TO GOD CENTER:

This happened happened recently. I was talking to my sister at the kitchen counter with my mother present at the table and her phone nearby (she had just received a call from Georgia, from her eldest daughter). I said how God would take care of his children in these economic downswing times, specifically those giving to God's work. It would be a testimony to the non-Christians that God is real and is helping his children, I added. She agreed.

Now I had brought home from my post office box just before this a thank you letter from New Tribes Mission director, Larry Brown, and Mother now began reading it out loud:

"Has this ever happened to you? You present your need to the Lord...and he doesn't answer the way you expected Him to answer. Freddo, a relatively new believer among the Tagbanwa people of the Philippines, needed finances to pay for his daughter's schooling. As he prepared to go fishing, he prayed, "God, make this the biggest catch ever!" God's answer? Freddo's boat motor wouldn't start. His fellow villagers all laughed at him as they zoomed by in their motorized boats. With a heavy heart, he paddled out to sea, trying not to doubt, hanging on to the thought, "God doesn't need a motor to answer prayer."

That night he came back with the largest catch of all the fishermen. He had the largest catch for the next three nights as well! He caught enough fish to pay for his daughter's schooling and more.

When I heard this story, the thought came to me, "I'm glad Freddo kept paddling, even in the midst of his disappointment and doubt. If he hadn't, he would have missed out on much more than the finances for his daughter's schooling!" Thank you for giving to God through this ministry (my mom and I had given to our missionary relatives for an wedding anniversary of 41 years, a dollar for each year). Whatever your situation, let's trust the Lord together and keep paddling! Let's get some more "fish"!--Larry Brown. Just when Mother (to turn 100 years of age in Sept. 13!) finished reading, the mail man arrived, and she hurried out excitedly. I didn't know why, nor did she. But she handed me a power company bill, I thought, and I opened it without much interest. But then I saw it was a check for $1,033.22, not a the expected statement or bill. Mom was being repaid due to some company program, as Mom because of her age and fixed income is on some assisted energy use program for the elderly. The major use months, though, must be paid, regardless. I have paid the power bill for a couple years, and never once have they sent any money back! This was not man's doing, it was truly God's. What a magnificent God (Jehovah Jirah, Our Provider) we serve! He isn't answering us according to our giving, though he takes note of giving nevertheless for His work. It does not work as the prosperity gospel preachers claim. If that were true, mother, probably the most giving person on earth, would be a millionairess many times over!!! Therefore, we don't give to get, like some folks do--and God knows that and now has given us abundantly beyond what we had given (only $41). We had given other amounts before this, but never have we received back from God so much in one lump sum! And we didn't have it coming either! Mother immediately pledged half of it to God's work. This is typical of her. She understands what gratitude is all about. She also understands how God operates with his blessings, as she fully understands that God intends us to be channel of His provision and grace, not a safety deposit box to keep it selfishly locked up!

Late June, God's grace was poured out on me, as I received a fully restored, absolutely beautiful 2001 Ford Escape, without paying a dollar for it! It is for God's work, not my selfish enjoyment, though I am enjoying this fully loaded vehicle. It is all restored, with new brakes, new transmission, new tires, and is leather in the interior, and has AC and a wonderful 7 CD player, and so on and on. What a beauty! I didn't actually need all this car, but God gives us bountifully, as a true king would, not holding back additional blessings to "keep us in our place" or in need.

God is good, very giving, indeed, but it is by God's grace, not by what I have done. Like grace, the car was donated free to me by a Christian friend working in a Middle East war zone, and I regard it as a blessing but also an instrument for God's use. Already it has served as a testimony of God's special provision to His children. At the bank the tellers came to the window and remarked about my new car, and I told them it was the Lord's gift, and I hadn't paid a dollar, not even for the sales tax, which was paid for me. They hadn't ever heard that, of course. At another bank the same thing happened. So now I am driving a real, living testimony, as I am not good at giving one "cold" ordinarily. But this miracle on wheels makes it very easy to testify about the Lord, I am finding. And nobody disagrees with me either, as they can see the miracle with their own eyes, having seen my last 18 year old For Tempo, which was no comparison with this superb Ford!

We strive to first read from cover to cover the books we recommend, but sometimes we recommend them while we are reading them rather than wait, since they are already proven to us they are excellent. Lee Strobel's book, however, can be a one-sitting-book--you can read it in a very short time.

A leading journalist in the U.S. known for his brilliant reportage and commentary, Lee Strobel, was not so successful with his home and family, for he was a hell-bent man, very arrogant and sure of his intellectual standing even if his home life was deteriorating and his relations with his wife strained to the breaking point by his abusive, temperamental, alcohol-laced lifestyle. But then his wife got "saved." He noticed the winsome changes in her and began to take an interest in what could possibly produce those changes. He started on the quest to prove the Bible wrong, that Jesus did not rise from the dead, or, rather, he wanted to explode if he could the notions that Jesus rose from the dead, for in doing that, the whole case for Christianity was shown up to be a fraud, an old wive's tale. This small, 74-page book is no doubt going to be a classic. It reads like a thriller, describing the author's tracking down the truth almost like the legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes, from expert to expert, case to case, in such a way you are there with him, examining the evidence. Get it! And don't wait. You have too something great here you must experience, if you are a Christian, and particularly if you are not. It's a Billy Graham Library Selection.

I am presently reading with great interest this 222-pager of the life stories of particular missionaries and how particular Mexican men, women, and children, caught in webs of sin and abuse and all sorts of trouble, found deliverance, freedom, and new lives through the power and truth of Jesus Christ. These scenes and people in Baja is a Mexico you won't find in the glittering, posh hotel zone of pleasure and hedonistic sin called Cancun--this unveils the real Mexico you wouldn't want to take pictures of or buy postcards of to send home to your family and friends. I have never wanted to go to the resorts of Acapulco or Cancun--as I feel they are nothing but a lot of slaves serving the rich Gringos flocking down there from the cold north to indulge their selfishness on the beaches, pampering themselves with all the luxuries of the hotels, and diving into sexual sin whenever they get the chance. That is the Mexico that most of our tourists from this country know. But there is another Mexicoe that is entirely different. It is another world entirely. This is the Mexico that the Lord Jesus loves and wants to save, and is saving. The 5-star hotels will someday crumble away in an earthquake, and all those pleasure seekers--well, God help them! But the souls saved you will read about in the page of this wonderful book, they will shine like stars forever in heaven, thanks to the sacrificial lives and ministries of the missionaries who are featured in this book. Like reality TV? Give me a break! Give yourself a break! There is no such thing. They put themselves in their fixes, just to win a prize and show off how great they are and smart they are--which they aren't in the least. Mexicans don't do that--they are born to their circumstances, it isn't something they chose or wanted or are happy with. Most aren't such fools as to choose to be in dire straits, physicallyand spiritually. We are fools if we think that is reality on the so-called Reality TV shows. But there is reality in this book--not something concocted with a script by TV film producers. And this reality, hideous, shocking, shameful, is being transformed daily and hourly, even as I write this, into beauty, light, and fulfilment by the saving of souls through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and also his power and miracles, which are described throughout the book. Meet Charla Pereau, Raul, Corinne, Erma, Alma, Glen, Barry, Mario, Dr. Marco Angulo, Dr. Mendoza, and many others who are making Mexico, a place of much hopelessness, despair, disease, starvation, and spiritual darkness, into a golden doorstep to heaven.

Pass on good news for a change, and good news will come back to you someday, with souls thanking you in heaven for having pointed them to the truth that saved them!

You can put the bookstores out of business, some would say, but that is unlikely, as few people will use the Godgiven sense to pay $1 for a book instead of $17.99. Oh, they have the Godgiven sense, giving them the benefit of a doubt, but they don't want to make the effort to save the money entrusted by God to them. They are accustomed to paying top dollar. If this weren't so, why aren't the book fairs and book sale counters more crowded with people? I am usually the only person who takes a look at what is in the boxes and on the tables! I never go away disappointed either. I also found this time William Bennet's "The Book of Virtues," a hard-bound copy too.

This book is probably all you and I need to know to be effective and faithful followers of Jesus Christ! This is saying a lot for any book, but it is true about this one. This is a soldier of Christ's field manual, for practical life instruction and how to deal with every major problem you can think of. This book is the primer for the person who is serious about following the Lord.

A dear family friend of my mother's for several years before he was mine, Pastor David Pett has produced a book every Christian ought to read. I know. I have just finished "Can These Bones Live?", and I had a very hard time putting it down, inclined as I was to finish it in one sitting! Christians are the most martyred group in history, running right alongside the Jews. So-called Christians have always abounded, and they attacked Jews in the Name of Christ, while they were nothing but heathens and murderers in God's view. Call them Crusaders or call them Spanish inquisitors and even Conquistidores or Nazis, these "Christians" were nothing of the sort in God's view, which is the only view that counts. Christians and Jews are not the only martyr groups, of course. In Central Asia and the other parts too, there have been multiple millions of Hindus and Buddhists martyred centuries ago by invading Moslem armies, and right now the Hindus and Moslems are still on the warpath with each other along the fault line of the province of Kashmir in the north of the Indian Subcontinent. Yet both these religions are not altogether tolerant of Christians and persecute Christians, right along with Islam, and have made thousands of martyrs for Christ. Catholic (and pagan deity and demon worshipping) Latin America has furnished many Christian martyrs too, and continues to do so. In Mexico, if you accept Jesus as Savior, you may be martyred for Christ, and stoned to death, or shot, just as has been happening in Columbia to Christian pastors and believers. China is a big black blot on the map for persecution too. Communism may change its spots or stripes to look tolerant, but it is not: it is the same old tiger it has always been, an arch-enemy of Christians. Then on to Islam, the so-called religion of peace: All through the Middle Eastern and North African Moslem states, even over to Indonesia, the largest Moslem population in the world of any one country, Moslems who convert to Christ are liable to be tortured and murdered, often by their own families, not just the hostile authorities. In the Sudan in Africa, which extends to the south of Egypt and far south to the interior of the Sahara, millions of black Christians have been hunted down like rabbits, massacred by government-supplied militias, enslaved into a living death, forcibly converted to Islam, mutilated by having their hands chopped off if they were boys able to defend themselves someday, if girls or women raped and then married to Moslem men, and then murdered if they posed any threat whatsoever to their slave owners. A slave boy's price? About ten bucks! Rod Parsley and Billy Graham were actively involved in freeing and then feeding former or runaway slaves (black Christians), then helping them return to their villages to rebuild their homes and their lives. Franklin Graham has the international stature to gain entrance to the highest circles of the Moslem Arab Sudanese leadership. He has worked with this heartless, genocidalist, radical Muslim government to try to stop the genocide of black Christians in the south by government-sponsored killing squads (a support the government hotly denies, of course!). Some progress was made in that, but he has done greater work with the rebuilding and equipping of hospitals destroyed in the Moslem militia's rampages in the South Sudan. Rod Parsley's ministries of Breakthrough has fed, clothed, and paid for slaves to be freed. He has done this for thousands, while Amnesty International and other "human rights organizations" carped about Bush's war of genocide against the Iraqis (something that never happened), and ignored the plight of Moslem women world-wide as well as the genocide in the Sudan wreaked by Muslims against Christians.

We think persecution and martyrdom exist in other countries but not the U.S. We could not be more hoodwinked (hoodwinking is a process of controlling a chicken and its behavior by covering a chicken's head so that it looks blindly ahead, and cannot see what is happening on either side of the chicken). We are controlled in the same way by the U.S. liberal media. Sudan was virtually ignored by our media the whole time it was taking place--for about twenty years at least. Only lately has Amnesty International and the other watchdogs of human rights noticed the mass killings and enslavements and criticised the Government in Khartoum, and some demonstrations have also lately occurred. Jimmy Carter, a Johnny-come-lately Liberal, also got in the act not long ago, but soon bowed out, when he ran into the stone wall of Khartoum's radical Muslim Arab despots. It is increasingly the case here as well, we are being invaded by traffikers in human slaves. Seattle and Portland are two of the cities in my own Pacific Northwest that are entries for slaves, brought in and worked without pay and abused. This is what can be expected if highly liberal states such as these, which have created the social breakdown after cheapening the value of human life by their abortion policies and teaching of Darwinism in the public schools. We have increasing numbers of slaves in this country being converted into a socialistic, leftist nation with ever-enlarging enclaves of Islam run by Shari law and virtually free of our national laws and Constitution and Bill of Rights and Amendments supposedly protecting freedom and liberty for every one in the country. At the rate we are going, freedom is a lost cause in America. Welcome, Islam and Sharia law! Welcome, Endemic, toxic Secularism and Humanism! Welcome, godless atheism and the extirpation of Christianity in the land of the once free and the once brave!

Here is a red flag for you! In my own Washington State, Faith and Freedom Foundation has just reported that a recent referendum signature drive in a conservative cause has had to be protected with a court's restraining order, lest the aggressive Liberal activists from in-state and out-of-state get the lists of the signatories and then "contact" them. We know what happened in California recently after the campaigns of Christians and conservatives and moral people for the re-establishment of the will of the people concerning traditional marriage. Prop 8 was at the heart of the controversy, between these people and the activist, leftist, homosexual forces. The people voting for righteousness and for the sanctified union of one man with one woman were consequently vilified and then even persecuted. People lost their jobs, or forced into resignation, harassed at their homes, because they came out in support of traditional marriage. We face the same thing here, as this is a nation-wide pogrom by the Left that does not give us Christians the Constitutional option to vote our consciences. The Left has shown continually they could care less about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If we do not bend to their wicked, anti-democratic, unconstitutional agendas, they actively persecute us now, branding us bigots, homophobes, anti-socials, hateful, absurd, retrogressive. This is the America they have created, and they have untold millions donated by radical liberal billionaires such as that high-finance thug, George Soros, and also heaps of our tax monies as well to pay their gangs of thugs to harass and threaten Christians, conservatives, and traditionalists who want American's core values preserved and practiced for the sake of children and families.

Marginalized, demonized, vilified in the liberal press (what media is not liberal today, except that of conservative Talk Radio?), Christians, traditionalists (such as Bill O'Reilly of the Factor on the Fox Channel, Bill Bennett, Michael Savage, Lars Larson, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, Michael Medved, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and many others of equally high stature), conservatives and evangelicals, are now high on the target list of radical activists. These rabid activists of the Left see violence (not just punishing legislative bills and litigation) as legitimate means to silence the opposition from freedom-loving Americans once and for all, so that their radical leftist views are the only ones being expressed. Hate Crime legislative and bills, which Obama wants to see passed during his reign, will criminalize Christians and these conservative and traditionalist individuals and groups. Churches will be denied tax exemption as non-profit organizations, driven into bankruptcy if they so much as express that homosexuality is wrong and that the Bible teaches it is a sin. As is being done already in Canada and Europe (take secularist-ruled Sweden for example), pastors will be fined and even imprisoned under such laws, draconian laws that Sen. Edward Kennedy, who just received the Congressional Medal of Honor from Obama, championed for many years and cunningly tried to slip into public law, tacked onto a bill of with an entirely different subject. What a crafty, old fox he turned out to be! He certainly destroyed any last Kennedy mystique I had from the 1960s.

Chaplains have been forced to resign, rather than submit to leftist regulations inserted into the regulations that all must adher to in the miitary. Supreme Court advocate, Jay Sekulow, has championed the conservatives' fight in Congress against such regulations, but has not succeeded in having them overturned. Admiral Mike Mullen, who is the premier military leader under Obama, has enforced these Unconstitutional regulations, stating that the military would not push any religion. That simply isn't true, as it is pushing Islam, Hinduism, and Satanism. Mike Mullen's language would surprise George Washington! He would be not just surprised, but outraged. Imagine what George Washington, who led his army in prayer repeatedly on the eve of crucial battles, would say to Mike Mullen. Mike Mullen ought to be re-educated with the history of the America's founding and read the Founding Fathers' own views on this. He would be forced to acknowledge he is dead wrong and has opposed our Constitutional freedoms of religion. Of course, freedom is abridged in the military necessarily to an extent, but where that freedom is abridged in the Chaplaincy, he has no warrant whatsoever to justify it on the grounds of "separation of church and state." Imagine, no mention of Jesus' Name by Christian chaplains! It is all right with him that Allah or Satan or Krishna is named, however. What hypocrisy! He ought to resign, if he opposes our cherished freedoms, which Washington would never do, since he continually sought the aid of the Almighty in the field of war for American freedom and independence. Shame on Mike Mullen! He does the U.S. military a grave injustice by taking such a stand. If he cannot do what is right, he should not be at the head of our military forces. Can he plead ignorance? I doubt it. I think he is playing the shameful game of political expedience, which demands that he toe the leftist line or be forced out of his high position into an early retirement. Well, let the Admiral go to an early retirement. He cannot claim that our military was ever meant by our Founders and Framers of the Constitution to be divorced from the Christian faith, to the extent that a Christian Chaplain must not name "Jesus" in his prayers, whereas it is permitted a Moslem Chaplain to name "Allah" with complete freedom, and a Hindu to name his own god, or gods. This is outright persecution of Christians, it is not separation of church and state at all. It is clearly the favoring of Islam and Hinduism and even Satanism (for there are Satanist chaplains funded by our tax dollars) under the sanction of leftist, godless, anti-Christian army regulations that have been written specifically into military law to target and eradicate the Name of Christ and the ministry of Christian chaplains. Woe to our military, now that the likes of Mike Mullen is at the head, and these are the regulations and the anti-Christian agenda of the Left that he supports! They are a dark blot on our history and our nation.

Christian evangelists are now being murdered in our streets today. I know a lady who had a grandson who was murdered when preaching Christ to the gangs of Los Angeles, the City of Devils, not angels. Someone has to do it! Death threats are the normal thing for Bible-based, deliverance-preaching pastors whose churches are located in gang-ridden sections of our major cities. But we do not have to contend with death threats and actual killings by gangs, there is the increasing persecution of Christians by Moslems. The radical Muslim jehadists training right on our own soil for terrorist strikes within our own country are operating in dozens of known camps across the country. My own state has them, which the leftist and secularist liberals in the state legislature and in Congress representing my state care nothing about. I wrote to them about it, but not one response from our State's representatives at the State Legislature or from Congress. They are more concerned with demonizing Christians and evangelicals by calling us "domestic terrorists". Can you imagine Pentecostals strapping bombs to their backs or tummies and then blowing up in public venues? Can you imagine any evangelical doing that? Hardly! Yet we are considered a greater threat than Muslim terrorists by our own Homeland Security Department! Infected and blinded with liberalism, the Government in Washington and the secularist state governments refuse to recognize that we face a real threat in our own front yards from Islamic jehadist training camps, not just sleeper cells awaiting a call from Al Qaida or Tehran or Gaza or Pakistan. How many will be killed or are being killed today in the various massacres and shootings in malls and schools and in other public places by radical Moslems? The press is loath to report that any Muslim would do such a thing, and suppresses the facts in the shootings, even the ethnicity of the criminal. If ever a Christian commits a crime, that is the first thing reported, it was a Christian who did it. This is their policy from years back, to blacken us all with the same tar brush. This situation will only accelerate and worsen, as the secularists give the terrorists in our midst the wink while they ride shotgun against conservatives, traditionalists, and evangelicals with hate crime legislation and watchdog law enforcement agencies alerted by Homeland Security by its recent outrage, the "Assessment of Domestic Terrorist Threats."

Yes, we are in a new, not very promising America, one in which we Christians are the target of large, powerful, well-armed, state-financed, hostile enemies in the Leftist camp, and without Christ we mightt turn paranoid and run and hide, if we could. But with Christ, we can face this boasting, swaggering, uncircumcised Philistine giant of Goliah, Secular-Humanism in all its hideous shapes and forms. We win in the end, though we know from Scripture that many will continue to be martyred as they stand for the Word of God and the Gospel. Millions may yet die in America, and they will be primarily Christians.

A final anecdote. A friend who resides in Arizona with his wife in a "snow bird" trailer and motor home community, wrote that at his church a Christian family had invited in a Moslem youth, given him hospitality in the bosum of a loving Christian family, then when he departed for his home country, guess what his response was: he said he would return and kill them first, as that would be a kindness compared to what his fellow Moslems would do to them when they take over America! Does this speak to you what we face? Where is the moderate Islam we hear so much about? Wake up, fellow Americans! We are the targets of both radical Islam and radical secularism and liberalism. Not far off, in Iraq or Pakistan, but right here, in our homes! Sharing our neighborhoods with terrorists of the kamikaze squads of Al Qaida and Hezbollah and the other terrorist groups joined with them in the war against the West and American freedom, we cannot hope to escape them. Islam and home-grown Secularism have joined forces and seek to wipe us Christians, traditionalists, and conservatives off the face of the map. We are in a war on at least two major fronts, in a struggle for our lives and the children's future. Who will rule, who will enslave the children of America and indoctrinate them--Islam or Radical Secularist-Humanism? They have joined forces to subjugate us at present, but later they will fight to the death against each other over the smouldering remains of a once free and Christian nation. Before that can happen, the terrorists embedded in our society may well unleash their nuclear suitcase bombs forwarded to them from Tehran so that there is really nothing for Islam to inherit. Radical Muslims don't care. They don't care how many Muslims they have to kill to exterminate free and Christian America--they say they are willing to pay that price. The tyrants of Iran and their Hezbollah puppets in Lebanon declare that day after day, don't they? The Devil is determined to destroy a once Christian America, to make sure it never rises again, so that he can have his full way with Israel to eradicate both God's nation and the Jews world-wide.

May we repent of our sins, and may we turn from our wicked ways, as we pray and seek God's mercy and deliverance from all our terrible foes!

We can do a thousand things in this society to turn the tide that is destroying our nation and our Judaeo-Christian heritage, not to mention our inalienable rights and our freedoms enshrined in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.

Here is yet another wonderful, effective way: showing up to pray outside city halls, or wherever the local patriots meet in city, town, or community. I run into this "low profile" mindset all the time among evangelicals: we must not ever criticise or judge the government, we must pray, pray, pray for our leaders. Never mind, these same leaders are dragging our nation and society straight to hell with their godless, anti-moral, anti-marriage, anti-life agendas! They can cite scriptures too. But their mindset of unqualified, unconditional mercy is based on a half-truth, that God's justice will always be suborned by his mercy. Really? Where did they get that cock and bull notion? It certainly can't be from the Bible--it has to be some other, less reliable source, Dr. Spock's books, for example, or that bestselling potboiler of some years back, "I'm Okay, You're Okay" (yes, the book whose cover featured the author sitting on a couch with some girls who looked like Playboy bunnies!). Well, so can I quote scriptures that balance this case of supposed divine justice vs. mercy! In the Bible that dichotomy does not hold water. "Pray for our leaders?" I don't pray FOR them, rather, I pray FOR THEIR SOULS to be saved and their WICKED governments and schemes to utterly fail. That saccharine and seemingly spiritual "praying for our leaders" is a cowardly, head-in-the-sand copout, a smokescreen, a cover-up for ungodly compromise. The Bible never supports compromise, even if it comes with bowed head and folded hands. On the contrary, it has plenty to say about activism against unjust and wicked and immoral governments and leaders. If your leaders aren't oppressing you, pray for them. If they are oppressing lyou, well then, we must go to battle with the principalities and powers, the rulers in the spirit realm behind these leaders that are evil and aggressively opposing God. These we must wage spiritual war with and defeat! They will never rest until they defeat us--so it is a war we cannot avoid. Either we fight and win, or we llie down and let them ride victoriously over our bodies.

What is God's attitude toward the evil rulers and their governments. First, God hates them! He abhors them, he detests them, and he ultimately will destroy them if they continue without repentance and change. He always stands on the side of the oppressed and the poor and the orphaned and the widow, not on the side of the unjust and wicked and corrupt government and its representatives. Yes, yes, yes, God loves sinners and his mercy prevails over his judgement, over and over, but not forever! He doesn't love these sinners so much he will never judge and punish their sinful deeds! Wicked rulers do not get a free pass, just because they are rulers. He is a just God. He will not always forebear, he will come down for the sake of the oppressed and do away with the wicked leadership. So too with America, we can expect God to come to an end of his merciful restraint, hoping the erring will repent of abandoning him, repent of their willful sins, and return to him. If not, there will be hell and hellfire to pay!

A lot of evangelicals sit back in their padded pews in air conditioned sanctuaries (after getting out of well-padded seats in their cars, air conditioned too, and waddling a few steps into the church to sit down immediately), acknowledge the sins of their nation and their leaders, but expect mercy to cover over the stinking dung heap and make it better bye and bye, if they just pray for their leaders some nice sweet prayers and not get angry and upset over what they are doing to destroy everything godly in American society. They could not be more mistaken! That is not a godly position to take. It is suicidal at best, and anti-Christian the worst. They are dupes, doing exactly what God's sworn enemies want them to be--passive fools, who out of religious scrupulousness refuse to stand up in any issue of right vs. wrong and truth vs. falshood and morality vs. immorality, quoting scriptures to support their passivity in a time of national peril we have not seen since the Revolution. We have a virtual forerunner of the Anti-Christ in the Oval Office, acting as President of the United States, doing all he and his party can to blaspheme God and tear down every godly foundation and pillar of our country and its government and liberty, while these passive fools go tut-tut and hope mercy will eventually get these enemies of Christ to see the light and stop doing all those bad things they are doing! It will never happen, folks! The Enemy does not ever go passive and voluntarily retire from the war--he fights to the bitter end! He fights day and night, he never quits, unless he is actively confronted and actively defeated! How is this scriptural? Heard of the Faith Chapter, Chapter 11 of Hebrews? It describes, beginning to end, all those who were not passive fools and compromisers but active challengers of evil in Bible times. They are given us by God and the Bible to be our examples? How about following THEM, Rick Warren? You are only making yourself and your followers at your church a passive fool and a dupe if you follow the examples concocted by your own philosophy of positivism and mercy trumping justice. You have saddled evangelicals with defeatism, not Christian activism. The Founding Fathers of our Nation would have run you out of town with the Loyalists that supported the corrupt and tyrannical King George. They had prayed and prayed, but there came a time when righteous men had to take up arms against the wicked ruler who was usurping all their cherished freedoms and intending to enslave them. So they did! They were real men, and the women were real women. They had backbones. They had justice burning in their hearts, not passivity eating them like dry rot, until there is nothing but a dry husk of a human being that any tyrant can topple with a mere flick of his finger!

Just a couple verses from Chapter 11:

"And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jepthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens."--Verses 33-34.

We would never had a brave and free United States of America if people had followed Rick Warren and all those who compromise with evil, in the vain hopes that mercy will turn the hearts of wicked men to quit doing evil and do good. Sweetness and light do not come from that kind of response. The true response is active in God, not passive in the Devil. The Bible says so! There you have it. Take it or, with peril and destruction as the direct consequence, leave it.

These scriptures remind me that we can resist evil actively in a godly way, and through faith subdue the kingdoms of evil leaders such as Barack Hussain Obama, and anyone else like him, and moreover put to flight the armies of aliens (such as attaching hosts of Obama's government agencies, and the Russians, Venezuelans, Cubans, Muslims, and anyone else who attacks us to destroy our free nation). If we did not have Obama's words, acts, and written agendas, we would not know what he is, but we do have such things, and they testify clearly, inequivocately, unarguably, that he is a wicked leader, fully intent to defy God and Christ and reduce this nation to a godless humanist hellhole. It is time to resist! It is time to keep praying too, for mercy, but we must resist! We cannot lie down down as passive fools and dupes and hope for a better day, which will never come if we do that. Those who knew of the pack ice and bergs and who still went to bed on the night of the fatal collison of the Titanic and the killer berg, they were passive fools and dupes, and they perished horribly by choice. Are you perishing horribly by choice, fellow Christian? Millions of you Christian are! You also voted for a forerunner of the anti-Christ, if what he says and does and intends to do are proof enough to identify him as that, and they certainly are proof enough. God help you and us, but God help America's innocent children! Only God can help us now, if we will only stand with Him against the evil that has overtaken America from the topmost levels.

AMERICA'S RE-EDUCATION CENTER:

Some of you may not like what is said here, but perhaps you need to be offended. Perhaps you need to be confronted! We need some Jeremiahs and Isaiahs and other old-time prophets. Dare we ask God for an Elijah? He might well call down fire o n Washington, D.C. (a city that George Washington never liked, by the way). It is high time to settle this question, Biblically, once and for all. Should Christians be engaged, vigorously, in the public sphere? It is that clear and simple, but do we have simple answers to it by our evangelical leaders? Not at all! David Barton with his American Heritage Series gives a most wonderful account of colonial America's Founding Fathers and the Framers of the Constitution, of whom most of us know virtually nothing but a few raggedy, old, childish myths. We have not been educated in American history, so no wonder we are so ignorant! It is useless to tell me that we were educated in American history, for I went through the entire system (at a time when grades still meant something, and were not pegged to "self-esteem" but were granted on the basis of individual merit and genuine learning). I passed K-12 as average and better in my grades, then spent 6 years in college, graduating with a B.A. and later a Masters in English with a Creative Thesis. I emerged virtually ignorant about American history, yet I was well-read in most everything else regarding my courses and my major in college. In fact, I was extremely well-read. Yet it is only now I am learning the true facts about my nation's past. How could this happen? Well, it happens to millions of school children yearly. They are being systematically deprived of their own history.

We cannot blame the liberals for this entirely. It has to do with attitude among the evangelicals as well, which is generally poor nowadays concerning our nation. This attitude is best characterized by apathy and indifference--but with pseudo-religious overtones. People who ordinarly don't care a fig about holiness, suddenly take on scruples about mixing the holy with the unholy when it comes to politics. The same type used to inveigh against Hollywood, going to movies, wearing makeup, dancing, etc. Legalism was equated in their theology and minds as holiness. It is the farthest thing from holiness, as a matter of fact. The result of this attitude is that evangelicals withdrew from Hollywood, handed it over to the Devil to be his primary instrument to seduce and corrupt the youth of America, and evangelicals sat in their pews, congratulating themselves on their holiness! How incredibly stupid, but tragic! They lost the youth of America to Hollywood. Their own children fled their "holy homes" and plunged into the worst sins they could find in the outer world. The schools also helped a great deal too to capture the youth and warp their minds and lead them off into secular humanism's hellholes. Since Christian educators withdrew and did not run "secular schools" anymore, the world's philosophers stepped into the vacuum and spun their own godless and socialistic views out into textbooks and also directed teachers' training at college level. John Dewey was one of the foremost of these early on in the 20th century. Thanks to them, we fast lost our Christian education in the public schools and they were profoundly secularized, but not only that, they were turned into indoctrination camps, grilling students in the ideas that would run completely contrary to the Christian world-view, the Ten Commandments, and even the Bill of Rights eventually (as they incalculated socialism into the students).

The red herring of the evil of state church has been used by liberal, secularizing forces in America to stamp out all Christianity in the public schools. We never had a state church in America! There has never been a Church of the United States! Yet the ACLU and other such activist liberal groups have litigated one case after another in schools and even in towns and cities and courthouses against the display of crosses, the Ten Commandments, nativity scenes, references to Jesus by baccalaureate speakers, prayer before football games, etc. They merely wave the red herring of state churchism, citing the "Doctrine of the Separation of Church and State" and Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists, and a whole body of case law in favor of their falsehood has grown up, on which they have gained the authority to sweep Christianity clean out of the public schools. What do they have in its absence? Secular Humanism, which the U.S. Congress itself cited is a religion. So we have the religion of Secular Humanism, which is opposed to Christianity, supplanting what the Founding Fathers intended. And the Constitution is supposed to warrant this outrage, when the Constitution does no such thing. The Bill of Rights is entirely overlooked, since now it is routinely bypassed, and religion (Christian religion) is outlawed in the public schools, whereas the religion of Secular Humanism is fully accepted and is dominate in the entire curriculum. It is completely ignored by the educators and the judiciary that our Founding Fathers never approved of the idea that church should be separated from state. Quite the contrary! They approved of the union of church and state in many ways, particularly in education. The only thing they disapproved of, and did everything they could think of to prevent, was the creation of a State Church of America. Christian religion was allowed to enjoyed full freedom in society and its institutions, including government, the schools, and the military, but it was not to be enforced by a State Church, as a State Church would, employing the authority of the state law enforcement agencies. Many of them had fled from England and other countries where state churches operated, denying them freedom of conscience and even life and liberty. They did not want Europe's religious system here in America. They still wanted Christian religion, but not that old oppressive system. Congress, they wrote into the Bill of Rights, must make no laws abridging the freedom of religion (meaning the Christian religion). The Christian religion must also, they believed, enjoy freedom of conscience, and this they gave to others, including the Jews. Jews, or Hindus, or other faiths, were not forced to convert to Christianity. They too enjoyed freedom of conscience. This was founded as a Christian country, but with this freedom extended to all, every Jew was safe, every Hindu was safe, every Buddhist was safe, from persecution by a State Church armed with the powers of the law enforcement agencies. This kind of society was new in the world, and still is! But we are rapidly losing it, as socialism and secular humanism are clamping down and abridging our cherished and essential freedom of religion and freedom of conscience. Only the secularist-humanist religion is sanctioned by government and by judicial decree. Christian belief is condemned and hunted and driven out of the public sphere. We are getting the State Church of America that our Founding Fathers most feared and hated. It is the Secular Humanist Church of America, which is increasingly our State Church!

History is being repeated once again on our shores. We have been invaded by the socialism and secular humanism of old Europe, and are being made slaves and subjects of its authoritarian system. Freedom is virtually stamped out of existence in most of American society. When religious freedom goes, and Christians are no longer free to worship and share their faith as the Founding Fathers intended, no longer able to teach their children in church and school (yes, public school) as they intended in the Bill of Rights, the Amendments, and the Constitution, then we have a dictatorship of secular humanism. America, as it was founded, no longer exists, and another nation that they would not have recognized has taken its place. This is the greatest tragedy to ever occur in the world, that the lamp of freedom be put out in the birthplace of freedom, the United States of America. We had glimmers of freedom shining in other places, in other times, but here it burned brightest, as long as the last 250 years. But now it is going out! The lamp that the Statue of Liberty lifts above the harbor of the New York, once the beacon of the poor and oppressed of the earth, no longer shines into human hearts and spirits, even if the light of the torch is still on. We are plunged into the same darkness that lies heavy on Iran, the Middle East, and most of Asia and Europe and Africa. Once we were a shining city on a hill as our Puritan forefathers envisoned America, but now we are a dark, demon-oppressed valley of despair and degradation. God help us!

"We Americans engaged in five military campaigns on behalf of Muslims, each one resulting in the liberation of a Muslim people: Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Bosnia and Kosovo were humanitarian exercises. So was the failed 1992-93 Somalia intervention to feed starving African Muslims--in which 43 Americans were killed [then these boys' bodies were stripped naked and dragged through the streets by radical militias, which believe that mutilated bodies go straight to hell, which is not the case, as God saves the spirit, not the body, and if they were Christians, they went straight to heaven!--Ed.]. In fact, in these 20 years, the United States of America has done more for suffering and oppressed Muslims than any other nation, Muslim or non-Muslim." In return, Prager continued, "America has not only not received little gratitude from the Muslim world; it has been the object of hatred, mass murder, and economic attack from Muslim individuals, groups, and countries." How is our President representing us--not well, to put it mildly! He apologizes to Muslims every chance he gets, though we have little or nothing to apologize for in this splendid record of helping Muslims at the cost of huge amounts of America money and also many lives of our brave soldiers.

Most Christians are not aware that Islam teaches from the Koran that the Muslim god, Allah, has no son! This alone should have told President Bush and his administration that Allah is definitely NOT the God of the Bible, for he seemed to be confused about that his entire two terms. This teaching of the Koran and Islam runs completely contrary to the God of the Bible, who has a Son, Jesus Christ, whom he sent into the world to die for the sins of the world. Allah died for no one, and sent no son of his to die for our sins. That alone says there is no salvation in Islam. No Muslim can be sure he or she will ever enter Paradise. Mohammed could not claim he was assured of it either. But with Jesus Christ, we can be assured we will enter heaven, if we have accepted him in our hearts as Savior and asked his forgiveness for all our sins. What a wonderful chance this is for Muslims to be saved, rather than go through the lifelong hell of not knowing what is going to happen to them when they die in their sins, despite all the ritual readings of the Koran and bowing to to the ground and prayers five times a day and pilgrimages to Mecca and fastings at Ramadan.

"Allah" (a totally false and pathetic Arabian pagan deity that has no other existence as a living being) has no son, according to the Moslems' Koran, but our True God has a Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Savior and Lord of the World! To this the Bible, the only true Word of the Living God, testifies. And God is love, which can never be said of "Allah," who is called "compassionate," but who never sent a Son to bear the sins of the whole world, to save the world from condemnation and punishment in hell by what he suffered on the Cross for sinners. Now that is love and compassion, and nothing said of either Allah or Mohammed can ever equal it in the least way.

Cape Henry is what we call Virginia Beach, and CBN has erected on its property nearby the place where the English pilgrims landed and erected a cross, a replica, of which this is a picture. Every school child should be taken to see it and learn the true history of the founding of our Christian nation of America--not left to remain in the darkness of a politically correct, humanist revision of our history. Our forefathers dedicated this land and nation to God and the Gospel of Christ the Savior and Lord. May we always proclaim this truth, and live and obey God accordingly, in a manner that is worthy of our founding fathers, so that they will not be ashamed of us when later we meed at the Judgment seat of Christ to account for our stewardship of the riches we have received from them.

I wouldn't doubt that more Muslims have been killed by other Muslims than by any other religion, including the Crusaders of the Roman Catholic Church. But Muslims are accountable for attacking other faiths too. Jews and Christians (not just Muslim sects) have been Islam's chief targets since Mohammed got started with his "visions" and writings down of the visions he was supposed to have received from the Archangel Gabriel (that is a falsehood, Gabriel gave no such visions to Mohammed!). He massacred Christians and Jews to get control of Mecca, the chief city of Arabia, and then the rest of Arabia. Jews had controlled Mecca's trade for centuries, and Christians had kingdoms in Arabia supported by the Eastern Roman Empire, which was also Christian. Mohammed waged total war against both Jews and Christians, wiping them out, or merely subduing and enslaving them and then taxing them into poverty. This was how he treated Jews and Christians. Can we expect anything different from his fanatical followers today? Of course, it is foolish to think we can. If the leader has started a religion with sword and bloodshed, and then justified it in the Koran and also the Haddiths that followed to interpret the Koran, Islam's holy book, then it is only reasonable to expect his followers will follow his lead and do the same things. The House of Islam was built on the sword and all-out war and treachery, and so it is today. The foolish Western powers suppose that the Oslo Accords mean something, or that the United Nations can bring sweet reason and peace into the world, but there is no such foolishness in the House of Islam, not in its purest sense. We all delude ourselves in the West to suppose otherwise. Only Jesus Christ promises and can deliver true peace. Mohammed can only produce war and strife, blood and murder, hell and eternal punishment for his followers. We must tell them there is a true peace and happiness and fulfilment, found only in God's Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Issa is a hoax perpetrated by Mohammed. Jesus Christ is whom he proclaimed himself to be. He is God's only Son, and the Savior and Lord of the earth and of all peoples. He is also the Messiah of the Jews. Seek him, Muslim believer--in him only can you find heaven and absolute surety of salvation--Mohammed, never! Even Mohammed could not claim he was sure he was going to heaven, and said so! That was probably the one true thing he said, when he said that. For he was not going to heaven, not in a long shot, certainly not as a cold-blooded murderer of Jews and Christians and other people too, including many thousands of more compassionate Muslims who did not like his cruelly barbaric methods and bloody massacres of all who opposed his war of aggression, tactics based on force and treachery and lies, and new triumphalist religion.

Perry Stone's recent airing of his interview of Bishop Curtis (Earthquake) Kelley was surely a milestone in the history of modern Christian broadcasting. This took place as one program of a current series that Perry Stone calls, "The Mystery of Paradise." Bishop Kelly, you see, died in a hospital from a brain aneurysm and with tubes pulled by the nurses and doctor he was judged dead, and his body was about to be moved from the operating room when the Lord sent Curtis's spirit back into his body. He could not move his body, as his body was dead and couldn't respond, but he obeyed the Lord when commanded to open his eyes, and, miraculously, his eyelids worked! His eyes opened. An alert nurse noticed it, and immediately Curtis was reattached to the life-giving tubes. But he was warned to not even frown by his wife and the staff, for that would kill him, he was teetering on the fine line between life and death, and a single frown could start the brain's melt-down again. His head was placed between blocks of ice. He was put in a room with nurses coming to check him every 15 minutes. Meanwhile, no doubt his wife and church were praying with all their might. After the nurse left, turning off the TV, the miracle occurred, a golden vessel came into the room and set at the foot of his bed, and next, he was out of his body in spirit-form, and then transported instantly to heaven, to the area of Paradise this side of the crystal river that flows from the city. But you can hear this from him, in his interview by Perry Stone, or by Sid Roth in "It's Supernatural!". Or you can read it in the Bishop's book, "Bound to Lose, Destined to Win," available at his website, and at Amazon.com. What the Lord said to him in reference to America and us Christians, is what we must consider most seriously and prayerfully.

The Lord told Curtis Kelley that Christians were not taking the Lord seriously. They also did not forgive the Lord for not giving them right away what they wanted when they asked for it. They blamed him for that and also for not answering a prayer for someone and that someone died. The Lord said he had not sinned, he had done nothing wrong, and so they must forgive him for what they charged him wrongfully with, or he could not bless them and they could not move on spiritually until then. Moreover, the Lord told Curtis that many pastors were living anyway they liked, sinning, even to having lovers while they had a wife. Many of these would die in their own pulpits if they did not repent and cease sinning, the Lord said. The Lord also mentioned Christians who had aborted children secretly. He said that if America did not repent of its sins, which includes abortion, he would allow us to be destroyed. A catastrophe of destruction would strike us, and he showed Curtis the people who would do it--Curtis saw a woman and some men working together, terrorists operating in this country as a sleeper cell. Perry Stone confirmed this, as he said he had the prophecy from a prophetic man of God in Australia that this country would be struck a mortal blow by terrorists and afterwards you could not recognize it as America. (9/11, then, was just a little warm-up exercise, compared with what is coming soon!).

We must repent, overturn the infamous, genocidal Roe vs. Wade, repent of all our own sins too against God, or we will suffer utter destruction in America, not a gradual destruction, but one that consumes us in fire and explosions no doubt from nuclear devices and dirty bombs from one end of the country to the other. There will result an America that cannot be recognized. Is this what we want? Will we continue sleeping, lost in the thick pillows and comforters of our beds of sloth, apathy, and self-indulgence, and denial of sacrifice and God's demands on us as Christians? Our doom is certain if we continue as we have done up to this point.

From there on English literature rose to become the greatest literature in the world, expressing all the chief values of human life and the human condition, positive values of beauty, righteousness, truth, justice, liberty, and freedom that could not have arisen except in a thorough-going Christian culture where faith in God and belief in the Bible were vibrant and living and a part of most people's lives and aspirations. You cannot find such glories anywhere else, and to this extent, in any other literature. You will find gross barbarities instead, mixed in with some admirable ethics and philosophy, but you won't find true, unadulterated glories, epic achievements such as PARADISE LOST or HAMLET or the works of Tennyson and Blake and Hopkins and a thousand other masterpieces. Only as modernist philosophy and "Higher Criticism" of the Bible demeaned and devalued the Word of God and Christian faith did the literature begin to decline from those Olympian heights. It is declining today for the same reason, while the great masters of English literature are being either ignored or revised to fit the Leftist and secularist agendas and godless world-views.

William Blake, probably the greatest prophetic poet of the English peoples, was also a Christian, for all his prophecy is wreathed in Christian themes. Were you taught in our schools about the Wesley brothers? Probably, little or nothing. Yet they transformed their generation, their country of Britain, and even changed the world for the better. How? Through their uncompromised preaching of the Gospel through message and song. They were an unbeatable combination, empowered by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, which is "Spiritus Gladius," The Sword of the Spirit. The Wesley brothers were a team of two brothers, who transformed Britain from a nation slithering down the slippery slope toward an inevitable, bloody revolution and French style massacres and anarchy, only resolved with dictatorship. That fate was averted by the revival John and Charles Wesley ignited in 18th century England. The revival saved and redeemed Britons by the millions, and changed world history too, as Britain rose to become the head of one of history's greatest empires, and a supreme leader in industry and technology and statecraft and culture. At the heart of all this positive change was the Bible and Biblical preaching and teaching, which the Wesleys put back in the driver's seat in British society. I was taken by a budding young barrister in London to view the Mother Church of the Methodist Church, and he pointed out to me the pulpit, saying its position was central in the church, as John Wesley intended that preaching was to be the central part of the service. It is no more, of course, as Methodism has losts its Biblical focus and slid back down from the heights to join the depraved, pagan world culture in its catastrophic decline into amorality, hedonism, idolatry, and godlessness.

If you want to know what Methodism once was, read John Wesley's Journals. as I did and was forever grateful I had picked up the book, as it is a fascinating view of the man and his mission for Christ and also his country. John Wesley wrote (and this expresses the Gospel too, and how he viewed God's Word!):

"I have thought, I am a creature of a day, passing through life as an arrow through the air. I am a spirit come from God, and returning to God, just hovering over the great gulf, till, a few moments hence, I am no more seen, I drop into an unchangeable eternity! I want to know one thing--the way to heaven, how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to each the way; for this very end He came from heaven. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that Book! At any price, give me the Book of God!"--John Wesley

Compared with this shining, brave, focused-on-Christ spirit, John Wesley, what are we but slithering, little things that hide from the light when a rock is overturned! If we could strive to be half the man of God he was, wouldn't we too be able to lead millions to Christ? It will take some real, no doubt painful sacrifice, however, and how many men or women, young or old, will sacrifice for the Lord, even if it will reap huge benefits in eternity?

Remember the old slur, "The only good Indian is a dead Indian"? That must have been uttered by General Custer, and we see what it brought him to--a terrible, bloody end, that no amount of Hollywood films can glamorize into someone we can truly admire. His wife made the best of a bad marriage by glamorizing his reputation and achievements, while she knew the reality of the real man behind the fame was far from the case. It doesn't matter how famous he is, or how many monuments they put up to this wicked man who met his violent end in Western SD, he was a bad character, and good riddance to him. Well, unlike Custer who died young and wicked right in the midst of a career turned to massacres of unarmed Indian children and women, the Indian-blooded Oral Roberts is now in advanced old age, but he had and still has access to America's greatest stars, and Jimmy Durante was one of them in the 20th century. He was a Christian, respected by his peers, such as Frank Sinatra, Mitzi Gaynor, Marilyn Monroe, and any other big name of that time. Someone has to witness of Jesus' love and salvation to these people, and it was Oral Roberts who was able to do it. Oral Roberts is still a big name, too, whereas those celebrities had their day in the sun and are now gone, to heaven or hell as their final reward. At least they had their chance to be saved. Another big world-class name was John Lennon. Lamplighter, July-August Issue, carries the amazing true story, "John Lennon's Empty Philosophy," by Dr. David R. Reagan. "Imagine" was perhaps Lennon's most recognized song, acclaimed and sung internationally. But "Imagine" expressed Lennon's hopeless philosophy. He himself described his song, saying the song was "an anti-religious, anti-nationalist, anti-conventional, anti-capitalist song, but because it's sugar-coated, it's accepted." He also described it as "virtually the Communist Manifesto." He made millions from it, of course--millions that did nothing to bring meaning to his life and peace to his troubled soul. Living with his Japanese wife Yoko in a Manhatten hotel, he would go out with her spending and shopping extravagantly for luxuries costing as much as $100,000, then return to eat a dinner of alfalfa sprouts and beans and other "health" foods. He would at other times gorge on hamburgers and other junk food, forgetting the simpler foods altogether that his followers consumed as part of the emancipated New Age generation he led. His life had no consistency. For inside his heart, as the article tells us, was nothing but dark, churning hopelessness and despair and a big, aching void into which he poured drugs, year after year, until his sudden, tragic death, assassinated in his hotel lobby by a former fan gone crazy.

Sometime before his end, after he had achieved world-wide fame and fortune and found it meant nothing, Lennon wrote to Oral Roberts, pouring his heart out. Did you know that? All these years, I didn't, thinking Lennon was never such a soul-searcher or so urgent a seeker. His letter went: Rev, Roberts: This is ex-Beatle, John Lennon. I've been wanting to write you,b ut I guess I didn't really want to face reality. I never do this, this is why I take drugs. Reality frightens me and paranoids me. True, I have a lot of money...but basically, I'm afraid to face the problems of life. Let me begin to say, I regret that I said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. I don't even like myself anymore--guilt." He went on to tell about his terrible family background, his mother dhying when he was an infant, his being raised by an aunt, and how his father deserted him at age five. He wanted to kill his father after he came begging him for money. He ended the letter to Oral with a cry of despair: "I want happiness. I don't want to keep up with drugs...Explain to me what Christianity can do for me. Is it phoney? Can He love me? I want out of hell."

But consider this: The Lord God is still a holy God, contemporary church people, and you have forgotten that fact, in your disgraceful, cowardly rush to be socially acceptable and politically correct! Let a dog lift its hind leg and discharge on you as you, Rick Warren and all the rest of your kind, make your sickening, compromising kow tow to the godless apostates and tyrants who are now in power over America! You heard this liar in the Oval Office, and then he turned against you and God and America, when he was among his own Muslim supporters in Cairo, yet are you now speaking out for the truth? Are you telling us you maybe made a mistake? If you have, I have not heard you! I am still listening--will you speak out, and warn the people of God, or will you keep shamefully silent after Barack Hussain Obama's arrogant betrayal of you and all your principles and Biblical beliefs?

God sent a plague upon the Pharoah and his household and the Egyptians round about for taking Sarah as his concubine, joined with a dream and words warning the Pharaoh with disaster. Both Abimelech and Pharaoh listened and obeyed in fear and trembling, they refrained from the evil they were intending to do Abraham and his wife and Isaac and his people. Obama is leading the United States and all our people down into the same old pit of destruction. May he be granted divine mercy, may he be sent a warning dream from the Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel, to refrain from doing evil to Israel and from doing evil tot he innocent unborn children that are not protected by U.S. laws any longer and are scheduled to be murdered at the rate of 4,000 a day. May the Almighty Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, stick these eternal, living truths of the Word of God into the grinning, lying mouth and craw of Barack Hussain Obama and all his degenerate crew in the White House and his government. His wicked, oppressing, power-and-greed-motivated government is set like a juggernaut to roll over all our country, to crush out the last of our cherished religious and civil and individual liberties, while the mass of evangelicals sleep on in their pews, blissfully unaware or hypocritically denying to themselves that the country is now in the hands of hostile enemies, domestic terrorists such as we have never faced before. We have sinned grievously as a nation and people and brought this great calamity upon ourselves! We have played the fool in our churches, sleeping or willfully sinning and indulging our lusts and various idols, while the wolves assaulted our society from all sides. God has permitted the devouring locusts to spread over the entire country, and now will we cry out for deliverance to the Lord? Will we admit and confess we have abandoned God, and invite him back? Will we cease excusing ourselves and our stinking sins, and choose righteousness and holy living? Will we? The forces of the Devil, riding high over us at the present hour from Washington, are certain we WILL NOT call on Almighty God and forsake our evil ways, and, by default, that they have us by the throat and will be able to finish us off this time. But here is something for them: Sic semper tyrannis! "Thus so to tyrants!" That is what the Word of God declares!

I do not buy all this talk about the brilliance of this professional charlatan and "community organizer." His political talent that the press raves about is based on the most shocking detachment from humanity and God, a lunacy that has lost complete touch with reality and even common sense. He has forgotten completely exactly what it took for him to rise from the gutters of Kenya, Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago to the American's most powerfulo position in government. He thinks that his vacuous, windy, telepromptered talking points will prevail over the politics he learned in the dark, chimp-crowded backrooms of Chicago's Democrat political machine, now that he is enjoying all the perogatives and pleasures in the rarefied atmosphere and amidst the pomp and pageantry of the Presidency. That gilded cage paid for and maintained for him at taxpayers' expense isn't enough for him. How about that millionaire's estate on Nantucket he is going to rent for $50,000 a week for rest and recreation! WE, UNEMPLOYED OR JUST HANGING ON BY THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH IN A FAILING, OBAMA-DEPRESSED ECONOMY, HAVE TO PAY FOR HIS AND WIFE MICHELLE'S INCREASINGLY VOLUPTUOUS, EASTERN POTENTATE-LIKE LIFESTYLE! He is playing the chief figure in an elaborate masquerade, a megalomaniacal despot, idolized by the press and all the salivating sycophants of his government and dressed up by them as a shining demi-god full of sweetness and light, with all the panaceas of a Messiah for the world's issues and problems--though he is himself a cold-blooded, relentless oppressor of the poor and a shameless thief of other people's hard-earned incomes and livings, not to mention he is a destroyer of our nation's cherished freedoms and the Constitution and all its guarantees of our rights and liberties. But the policies of appeasement of our enemies to gain their support AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HE SUPPOSEDLY REPRESENTS, by which he cuts America and its stand for freedom down to the level of the dictatorships he so hopes to befriend, these injurious policies of Barack H. Obama will result in the following:

Feverish preparations of all our avowed enemies, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Sudan, Syria, Iran, North Korea, Burma, and many others like them, to co-ordinate a major surprise, pre-emptive attack on the U.S. as well as bases overseas. We have mentioned this before on this page, as it is a growing, even imminent catastrophe as Captain Obama directs this ship of America full steam straight toward the ice berg! This will have to take place either in his first term or second, but has to happen before he leaves office, as our enemies cannot risk another stronger, more rational president coming to power, who would certainly use our military forces against them and make them pay dearly for whatever they do to us. A weak-minded, soft-spined peacenik leader who loves to "downsize" American power and prestige is what they prayed the Devil for, and now they have this absolute wussy, Barack Hussain Obama, and with him all of America centered in their gun sites. I am just describing him according to his actions and speeches. He has made himself the Big Bird doofus of Sesame Street who thinks he can sit down and have a beer with his sworn enemies, a pack of the most dangerous and bloodthirsty tyrants on Planet Earth, and everyone will be good pals from here on out. We all know what will happen. They will make hash with mustard greens as a garnish out of this excuse for a President of the United States of America. He is no national leader, he is an international, Grade B Movie actor, a world globalist aiming to shove and manipulate America into denationalization, all our sovereignty abandoned to the colossal failure called the "United Nations," and then after achieving that, our final absorption into an even more disastrous World Government, with Kissenger standing at Obama's side like Merlin the Magician, guiding and instructing his every move and speech. He is Carter the Unready, returned to office, but with a double dose of whatever made Carter so odious and so destructive of America. The American people woke up. My own liberal friends were so disgusted, they had lost so much money due to his policies, they decided he had to go. Carter did not win a second term, fortunately, or our enemies would have been emboldened to attack us then and finish him and us off. But now they have someone who will be the perfect sitting duck, who will even smile on cue for the incoming missiles.

In evangelical circles, there is still the question whether God is still warning us or performing a judgment that will climax in total destruction. Do we have to know for sure? One or the other will be our end. I cannot conceive a more perilous situation, warning or judgment, either of which can bring total destruction. Ignored warnings of pack ice and bergs in the path of the speeding Titanic, they brought total destruction, did they not? How many people aboard that doomed liner were debating, at the last moment before the final plunge, whether it was warning or judgment? No doubt there were some, but they perished like the rest.

The kiss of ultimate treachery is the kiss the Satan-possessed Judas, whom the Lord called the son of perdition, gave his innocent, loving Master, Jesus the Messiah, the night of his betrayal. This satanic kiss is being given the Lord's cheek today by the mainline churches and denominations, who are flocking together under Barack Hussain Obama's banner and increasingly abandoning God and morality and the Bible, while maintaining their religiousness and compromising with the anti-Christian world and its devilish political agendas (which are godless and anti-semitic). David R. Barnhart of "The Vine and Branches," has this to say about the current, toxic dump of religion in America:

"One of the greatest battles against the church is being waged today. Yet, countless Christians seem unaware of the tumult, while still others shrug their shoulders in an attitude of indifference. It is these lethargic Christians who are responsible for the sorry spiritual state of their denominations or congregations.

So many churches and denominations have set aside the true Word of God for the philosophies of the world. These bastions of heresy and apostasy dare to call "good" what God's word has declared to be "evil." Even so, Christians continue to support these churches through their presence and offerings. Surely, it is time for God's people to turn their backs on every appearance of evil and live out their lives in true obedience to His Word. "Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?...Come out from their midst and be separate," says the Lord (2 Cor. 6:14,17)." Barnhard begins his "Editorially Speaking" with this significant verse: "Contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed to the saints" (Jude 3).

The churches of America, despite the glitzy, sound and light show "Christian" centers (these touchy-feely, hyper-sensory, entertainment-crazed churches spend enough on themselves to build hundreds of churches in Asia or Africa or South America!) that call themselves churches, are in a doleful state, something like the state of the churches of England in the early 18th century before the Wesleys were raised up by God to push back the darkness with the uncompromised, piercing light of the Gospel. How we fallen so low into degeneracy and apostasy and corruption! Look for yourself at the causes that have taken their toll on us all:

Did you know that Jesus, walking the Emmaus road with these two disciples, first used the chronological method to teach unsaved souls the way of Salvation, starting with the Old Testament, a method which the New Tribes Mission uses so effectively to reach tribal peoples across the globe? We might well use it here in America, for there is virtually no Bible knowledge in Americans to speak of, even in those sitting in the pews every Sunday! We have become the Dark Continent! How can Christians remain true to Christ without firm, Biblical foundations? They may be saved, but how can they mature and grow and produce the eternal fruit that God wants from their lives and witness? They will probably wander off into cults, or lose faith altogether, for their faith cannot really meet the tests and tribulation that surely will come. Jesus knew what His disciples would face, so he taught the disciples that walked the road to Emmaus in the very best way to give them a foundation that would not fail them during the tough times he knew lay ahead of them. Chet Plimpton of the New Tribes Mission Executive Board has this wonderful message for us revealing what went on with the two disciples, sad and dejected, on Resurrection Day, who thought it was all over with them regarding Jesus, who had just been crucified.

The Bible is not written in the gray zone, where there are no absolutes, where good can dialog with evil and seek to learn from evil (this is the contemporary spirit of compromise that holds that all contrary points of view are equivalent and hold equal weight in the arena of ideas, a spirit that puts saints along side sinners and on the same footing, that seeks to find common ground between Hitler and the Jew murdered at Auschwitz, the terrorist and his victim).
